"..... You really approved this miss Gevanni..?" L asked with a hint of betrayal as he held the paper with his thumb and pointer finger.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't notice that!" The young girl apologized quickly as she bowed multiple times to L.
Light just snickered.
"You don't have to apologize (Y/n), I wrote that" Light said as he stopped his love interest from bowing to L.
"Light-kun, if you don't remove the part 'I don't care if you kill L' then I will die" L said with drowsy eyes.
Light laughed a little before replying.
"You may change it however you want Ryuzaki"

The response from taskforce Kira, who is the original Kira, was broadcast on television.
Now, the taskforce just had to wait for the second Kira's response and monitor the deaths of criminals for a pattern.
Everyone was working on their own pace as there wasn't really much to work with.
L dismissed (Y/n) earlier so that she can continue her training as a private agent. She will be contacted once they have a new lead.
Light was a bit annoyed by this. He hated being in the taskforce however it was beneficial for him. He could monitor the progress of the taskforce and make sure no one ever finds out about the real Kira.
Light sighed and took out his cell phone. His finger hovered over a contact 'My love'.
Light looked around the taskforce, everyone seemed to be busy in their own work.
He stood up as he spoke.
"Ryuzaki I'm going out for some fresh air" Light announced as he walked out of the taskforce building.

Light came outside as he finally dialed his love interest's number.
After exactly 4 rings she picked up.

"Hello? Light?"
Light's breath hitched. Even through the phone, her voice sounded ethereal.
"Hey (Y/n).. What are you doing right now?" Light asked while trying to make it seem like he wasn't bothered by the fact that he didn't know where she was talking her training.
"Oh, I was training Light.."
"Mmh I see, did you eat lunch yet?"
"No not yet"
"If you're not too far away, can you come to xxxxxx cafe? We can have lunch together!" Light offered enthusiastically.
"I wish I could come Light but xxxxxx cafe is quite far away from here.." The girl replied with a hint of sadness.

"It's alright, next time we can grab lunch together" Light reassured.
Light chit chatted with his love interest for a little more before he had to reluctantly cut the call.

Light sighed as he looked at a picture of the girl on his cell phone, that he had taken secretly.
Ryuk cackled behind Light as he spoke in his hoarse voice.
"Does your little 'friend' know that you sneak into her room at night?"
"Come on Ryuk, she doesn't have to 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸" Light chuckled darkly.

Suddenly Light got a text on his phone from Matsuda.
"Light we got a response from the fake Kira! Ryuzaki is calling you!!"
Light looked at the text with amusement as he grinned darkly.
