Light watched as the young boy before him sipped on pink lemonade.

Light was at a cafe with Minoru to discuss their 'plans'.

Light sighed which earned Minoru's attention.

"I told you to get something for yourself too" the young boy said as he sipped on his drink.

"Can we just start talking business already?" Light asked while trying to not punch the boy in the face.

𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘱𝘶𝘯𝘬.. 𝘒𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘔𝘠 𝘠/𝘯..

As if the boy could read Light's mind, he looked up from his drink and stared into Light's eyes.

"Fine let's talk business" the boy said in a menacing tone.

𝘍𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺..

"I just need you to get L's name.. Can you see names from pictures?"

"I don't know" the boy answered nonchalantly as Light just bit his inner cheek.

"Besides.. Even if I could.. I don't think you can get a picture of the most private human in the world" Minoru said mockingly as he looked at Light.

"Well, just carry on with the judgements then.. I'll see if I can do anything to have you meet L" Light said as he looked out of the window when he suddenly spot two familiar figures.

"Light-kun!" L waved enthusiastically at the boys as he quickly changed his expressions to expressionless.

L walked in the cafe with Light's lover trailing behind him.

Without any warning, L sat on a chair in front of Light as you followed and sat on the chair in front of Minoru.

𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘥𝘴 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘮𝘺 𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦.

"(Y/n)? What are you doing here with Ryuzaki?" Light asked softly as he looked at his lover with utmost love and adoration.

"Oh... Ryuzaki wanted to check something.."

Light furrowed his brows as Minoru just watched the newcomers with amusement.

"I'm Minoru Tanaka and I'm a senior in high school" Minoru introduced himself as he offered his hand for a handshake to you.

You shook his hand and smiled at him.
"I'm (Y/n) Gevanni, I'm an agent"

Minoru smiled back as Light just glared at Minoru but that quickly vanished as he turned towards L.

Minoru smiled at L before offering his hand to L for a handshake.

L, who was observing the new face, shook the boy's hand as he quickly retreated and wiped his hands with a handkerchief. "I'm Ryuzaki"

Minoru grit his teeth briefly before he leaned on his chair and sipped on his pink lemonade like nothing ever happened.

"Is he your friend Light?" You ask Light sweetly to which he instantly melts.

"Uh yeah.. I used to help him with his homework while I was in school" Light said as he smiled at you.

You nodded as you thought about it. You went to the same school with Light but you never saw this boy. But this is Light, he would never lie to you, right?

Minoru smirked playfully as he broke the silence.

"Miss (Y/n), are you single?" Minoru asked as he leaned towards (Y/n) while Light fisted his hands harshly, causing his knuckles to turn white.

"No she's not" Light spat out as he glared at Minoru.

"Ah I see, I'm sorry" Minoru smiled at you as you awkwardly smiled back.

"It's quite late, we should all head home" Light spoke in a calm demeanor, a contrast to his mini outburst some time ago.

"Light-kun is correct, Miss Gevanni you can head home with Light" L said as Light smirked internally.

"But Ryuzaki, what about you?" The young girl asked with worry while L just smiled briefly.

L pointed towards a luxurious black car, just outside the cafe.

You nodded as you bowed to L.

As L left, Light looked towards Minoru as he spoke.

"Love, can you wait for a minute, I need to give Minoru this book he wanted to borrow" Light made an excuse to see the boy as he gently caress his lover's head before walking to Minoru who was watching the lovers from afar.

"Your girlfriend?" Minoru smirked.

"Yeah... Now, you saw that man's name right?" Light asked.

"Yeah... That man is L?" Minoru asked with fake surprise.

"Hmm so what's his name?"

"Why should I tell you?"

"Isn't that why we're acquainted?" Light said in a dangerous tone.

"It's not fun like that" Minoru said in a calm demeanor.

"Then what-"

"It's not nice to keep your girl waiting so long, she might get the wrong idea or perhaps someone might steal her from you.."

"Later" Minoru smirked as he walked out of the cafe, saying goodbye to the girl as he passed by her.

Light just clenched his fists as he walked over to his lover.

"I'm sorry for taking so long sweetheart..." Light spoke gently as he pulled his lover in his arms.

"That's alright" you said as you leaned in your boyfriend's warm embrace.

"It's getting cold love, you should dress more heavily" Light said gently as he held his lover close to him as they walked back to their neighborhood.
