Light was swiftly moving as he successfully hit the tennis ball.

"15 love!"

Light and L were playing tennis in an open field. L, who requested to be called Ryuzaki, had offered Light to play a tennis match.

Light enthusiastically hit the ball so hard that L was not able to dodge it.

"Game set! Match won by Light Yagami"

Light was more than proud.

𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘺 𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺... 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴, 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘭𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘸 𝘪𝘯 𝘮𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘓.

"Light-kun, how about we go to that cafe over there to discuss 'business'" L suggested as he pointed at a cafe.

"Sure Ryuzaki"

𝙈𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙚

You were sitting with your brother in a cafe. It had been a long time since you saw your brother and so you were spending some time with him before he left for England again.

You sipped on your (favorite drink) as the cafe's door bell rang in a melodious tone, indicating the arrival of customers.

Stephen looked behind you discreetly which didn't go unnoticed by you.

"What is it oni-chan?" You asked as you were about to turn around but Stephen grabbed your arm to stop you.

"Oh it's nothing, don't worry about it" he replied as he sipped on his coffee.

Light walked over to a seat in the corner but suddenly something or someone caught his eye.

He glanced to his side only to be met by (Y/n) and her brother sitting in one of the chairs a little bit further away from him and L.

Light couldn't see (Y/n)'s face as her back was turned towards him but he could see her brother's face.

It seemed like Stephen hadn't noticed Light and Ryuzaki yet.

Little did Light know... Stephen saw them from the very moment they stepped in the cafe.

Light had to unfortunately divert his attention towards the man with disheveled hair as he started asking about his opinions on Kira.

Stephen would glance towards Light and the man every now and then. He couldn't recognize the man but he could tell the man must be someone important. Light wouldn't hang out with an unkempt person such as that man.

Something about the man was different. Sure, he had a weird sitting posture and unkempt appearance however he still looked very intelligent. It's as if the man could see right through people. It was difficult to read his body language though, no conclusions made sense.

It wasn't Stephen's business though.

He looked towards Light and observed his body language carefully.

Light's arms were crossed, a sign of hostility. His right arm slightly twitched. His eyes were however filled with determination?

It was certainly confusing trying to read Light's body language. It was suspicious how Light was almost entirely perfect.

Stephen finally looked towards his sister who was already looking at him suspiciously.

"What are you doing?" You asked.

"Ah I was just thinking, sorry about that.."

Upon gaining no response from his sister, he spoke again.

"You wanna go to an amusement park?" He asked as he tried cheering you up.

You instantly agreed.

"Alright finish your drink quickly, we'll go now" Stephen said as he gentle caressed your head.

You nodded enthusiastically and started to quickly finish your drink.

Light shifted a little uncomfortably. He didn't like how Stephen was caressing your head.

Light felt a bit dumb as he was getting jealous of his love interest's brother.

Light shook his head slightly to get rid of his thoughts.
