The final game of the World Series at Yankee Stadium had ended, and the Dodgers emerged as champions, defeating the Yankees in an unforgettable showdown. Being down  from 0-5 to winning 7-6. You could barely contain your excitement as  watched the team celebrate on the stage on the field, with the other WAGS, pride swelling in your chest as the chants of “Freddie! Freddie! Freddie!” filled the stadium. Freddie, had just been awarded the coveted World Series MVP title. Which he so very deserved after hitting a walk off grand slam and a homerun for 3 games after that

You saw Freddie wave to the crowd, a huge smile on his face, his gaze sweeping across the field as if he were looking for you. The energy was contagious, and as Freddie spotted you, his face lit up even more. "I just want to say Thank you to everyone, my teammates, my family and especially to my wife Y/N for supporting me through this whole journey" he said.

As he held up the MVP trophy with a proud grin. “This one’s for you Los Angeles” he shouted, and in an instant the Dodger fans in the crowd cheered. He made his way off the stage, going over to you where he scooped you up, spinning you around as you laughed. You could feel the excitement radiating off him, and you clung to him, feeling nothing but joy in the moment.

“I’m so proud of you!” you exclaimed, kissing his cheek, which was still smudged with dirt from the game.

He set you down, his eyes shining with joy and disbelief. “I can’t believe we did it. And that I actually got MVP… Can you believe it?”

“I absolutely can,” she replied, brushing a stray lock of hair from his forehead. “You worked so hard for this, Freddie. You hit a walk off grand-slam, the first in World Series history! Then hit a homerun in 3 games after that! You deserve every bit of it.”

His teammates cheered as he pulled you in for a celebratory kiss, the crowd around them going wild. The cameras flashed, capturing the perfect moment as Freddie held you close, their laughter mingling in the air.

Later that night, the Dodgers had an exclusive after-party at a rooftop bar. The party was alive with music, lights, and the clinking of glasses. You could feel the buzz of excitement everywhere, and you held Freddie’s hand tightly, never letting go as the two of you moved through the crowd. Teammates and friends patted Freddie on the back, congratulating him on his MVP award.

“Couldn’t have done it without her,” he’d say with a grin, his arm wrapped around your shoulders. And each time, your heart fluttered, feeling proud and deeply loved.

At one point, you and Freddie found yourselves on the balcony, away from the noise. The city lights stretched out below them, and Freddie let out a deep breath, leaning against the railing as he took in the moment.

“This is everything I dreamed of,” he said softly, glancing over at you. “But it wouldn’t mean half as much if you weren’t here with me.”

You smiled, reaching for his hand. “Freddie, I wouldn’t have missed this for the world. Seeing you like this—knowing how hard you worked for this—it’s incredible.”

Freddie looked down, squeezing your hand. “I know it wasn’t easy. All the traveling, late nights, the pressure—thank you for sticking with me.”

“Always,” you replied, your voice filled with sincerity. “I’ll be here for all of it, Freddie. The highs, the lows—whatever comes next.”

Freddie pulled you into a hug, resting his chin on your head. The two of you stood there for a while, just enjoying the quiet of the moment together. After the whirlwind of the season, the constant challenges and sacrifices, this was what he needed most: you by his side, grounding him and sharing in his triumph.

“I was thinking,” he said, breaking the comfortable silence, “maybe we could take a trip. Just the two of us. Somewhere quiet, where we can finally relax.”

You looked up, her face lighting up. “I’d love that. We deserve a little time just for us.”

He chuckled. “That we do. But first, let’s make this night count.” He offered his hand to you.

She took his hand with a grin. “Lead the way, MVP.”

The two of you were wrapped up in each other, the world fading away as the two of you celebrated not only his victory but the love and support that had brought you two there.
