After the awards show, Jack had one goal in mind—introducing you to his teammates. The Dodgers were like his second family, and he had been talking about you to them for months. They played your songs in the clubhouse, and even debated over which of your music videos was the best. Naturally, they were all dying to meet you in person.

So when Jack invited you to a team dinner at an upscale steakhouse in downtown LA, you agreed without hesitation. You could tell how much this meant to him. But what you didn’t expect was how excited his teammates would be to meet you—or how quickly they would try to win your attention.

The moment you and Jack arrived at the restaurant, a chorus of greetings erupted.

"There she is!" Mookie grinned, standing up to shake your hand. "The superstar herself. You killed that performance the other night."

"Thank you," you said, smiling as you shook his hand.

"Man, Jack didn’t tell us how much prettier you are in person," Anthony added, pulling out a chair for you.

Jack huffed a quiet laugh, placing his hand on your lower back as you sat down. "Anthony, don’t start."

Anthony just smirked. "I’m just saying, man, you bring her around us, you gotta expect us to be a little starstruck."

"Yeah," Gavin (Stone) chimed in. "We’re all kinda obsessed with her music even though we'll never admit it to anyone else."

You chuckled, glancing at Jack, who was already looking a little tense. "I’m glad you guys like it."

"Dude, like it? Love it," Gavin said "Your last album was fire."

"I swear my girlfriend always has your music playing" Michael said.

You laughed. "That’s dedication."

Jack groaned, rubbing a hand over his face. "I knew inviting you guys was a mistake."

"Oh, come on, Jack," Anthony teased. "Let us have our moment."

Jack rolled his eyes, but you could tell by the slight clench in his jaw that he was already over this. You reached under the table, squeezing his thigh in reassurance.

The conversation flowed effortlessly throughout dinner. The guys asked you a million questions—about your tour, your songwriting process, your favorite cities to perform in. But it didn’t take long for them to start competing for your attention.

The entire table erupted into conversation —except for Jack, whose arm draped over the back of your chair a little tighter.

"Alright, alright," Jack cut in. "We get it, you all love her music. We know it's amazing."

Anthony grinned, unfazed. "Jealous, J?"

Jack scoffed. "No, I just—" He exhaled sharply. "Actually, yeah. I am jealous. You guys are acting like I don’t exist."

Micharl smirked. "Bro, we’re just appreciating your girl. You get to go home with her. Let us have our fun."

Jack just stared at him. "That’s not helping."

You bit your lip, suppressing a laugh. Seeing Jack jealous was adorable. You reached for his hand under the table, interlacing your fingers. "Babe, relax," you murmured. "I’m all yours."

Jack’s jaw tightened for a second before he finally exhaled, his shoulders relaxing slightly. "Yeah, I know that," he muttered.

Anthony leaned over, smirking. "She has to say that, dude. You’re her ride home."

Jack shot him a glare. "I hate all of you."

You laughed, turning to Jack. "I do mean it, though," you said softly, just for him to hear. "I only want you."

Jack finally cracked a smile, shaking his head before pressing a kiss to your temple. "Good," he murmured. "Because I don’t think I can handle any more of these idiots trying to steal my girlfriend."

"Yup," he muttered. "Never bringing you around them again."
