55. Academy Weirdos

"No." Cale answered without anymore need for context.

"I heard you also defeated Duke." Garrith ignored his answer. "If you become our family's awakened animal, you'll be provided generous benefits." He offered, stretching his hand out.

'I said no. Has age gotten to your ears?' Cale stood there.

Garrith sighed. "If you won't accept, then I want your lineage!" He wore a creepy ass grin on his face. "I will offer you a lot of assets, strengthening your stance as an awakener and even giving your offspring facilities."

"..."

The students and even the professors there grew.. disturbed...

Subin, Jisuk, Wooin, Jiwoo, and even Gangseok covered Cale, using teamwork, they surrounded him, not showing any exposure of Cale.

"You fucking creep." Jisuk commented. "You think just because you're the principal and a top ranker, you can just do what you want?! Do you have no morals?!"

They all nodded, agreeing with Jisuk. Even Sucheon, he might've been a villain, but he wasn't evil evil!

"You're like 100 years old! And Cale is like 18 (false)! You fucking pervert!" Subin commented next. "Pedo!" She shouted.

Inhyuk and Seongha didn't stop them. No need to, they were doing the right thing. They raised such proud kids.

"W- wait." Garrith stopped them. "I didn't mean it like that!" He tried justifying himself, but the kids did not lower their guard. "He can have the baby with anyone he wants, I just want the baby."

"That doesn't help!" Subin shouted. "He's too young to be having children! And you're planning to take away his child?!"

"I heard he has three adopted kids." Garrith added.

"That doesn't change anything!" Subin shouted again.

"Well.. I'll leave the decision to you." Garrith sighed. "Come back to me if you've made your choice."

"Cale won't be coming back to you." Subin pushed Cale outside the room.

Jisuk and Subin glared at Garrith as they all left. Now walking down the hallway.

"Me and Seongha will go to our accommodations." Inhyuk waved goodbye to them as they both left.

"Cale." Jiwoo spoke. "Don't let what he said get to you, we won't let him do anything to you." He reassured him.

'I don't even want to think about it.' Cale cried internally.

"If he tries anything to Cale, I'll open that skull of his and put some sense into his head!" Subin spat out fire from her mouth.

"Let's go explore the place then." Jiwoo suggested. "It might help you clear your mind."

"I'd rather sleep." Cale rejected.

"Come on." Jisuk wrapped his arm around Cale's neck, putting some weight on it. "All you do is sleep! You slept before going to the airport, you slept while we were going, you slept on the plane, then you also slept while driving to the academy! When do you not sleep?! You need some exercise!"

"But he looks so beautiful sleeping." Subin blushed, daydreaming.

"He'll die at this rate if he keeps sleeping." Jisuk got very very serious. "What if he sleeps and never wakes ip?"

Subin got on the same level. "I'll wake him up, with a true love's kiss."

Jisuk slapped her in the face.

"OW! What the fuck is wrong with you?!" Subin rubbed her bruised cheek.

Jisuk pushed his lips forward, bearing his teeth. "Keep dreaming. No one wants your crusty ahh lips on them."

Jiwoo stopped them, holding them apart. "Why don't get exploring now? It's be nightmare in no time."

"Where're you going?" Gangseok asked Sucheon.

Sucheon walked off. "I'm going to my room. It's a waste of time staying with you guys."

Subin shrugged.

They went on a tour like Jiwoo suggested. To famous structures from all around the world recreated into a miniature version in the academy. There was even a colosseum, meant for watching and accompanying spars.

"It's definitely bigger than our academy." Jiwoo looked around.

They settled down on the side of a fountain, resting for a moment.

"Are you sleeping already?" Gangseok shook Cale by the shoulders.

Cale shook his head. "No, just closing my eyes for a bit."

Jiwoo tilted forward, looking at Cale. "You brought your kids, right?"

"Why would Cale bring his kids to a hostile land?" Jisuk asked, scoffing.

"Yeah."

"Are you crazy?!" Jisuk turned to Cale.

Cale tilted his head, confused.

"Cale's kids can stay hidden as cats." Jiwoo innocently answered, confused as to why he's shocked.

"Hidden as.. cats...?"

"Mhm?"

"So I was correct!" Jisuk jumped up from the fountain side. "See!" He pointed at Subin. "My intuition was correct! Those cats are Cale's kids! I knew it!"

Subin crossed her arms, upset. "Okay, but how is that possible? There's no way that could happen!"

Jiwoo froze, realizing his mistake. 'Oh shoot—'

"Can Cale also turn into a cat?" Jisuk thought, thinking hard with his 1 braincell.

"I bet he would look majestic." Subin thought, sharing that same braincell.

They returned to their rooms for the night.

Cale yawned, opening the door. "Duke?"

"Why did you come?" Duke asked. His face without much emotions.

Cale crossed his arms. "Because that kid Jiwoo came, so I had to."

"Why?"

"Because he'll get into more trouble if I didn't."

"You're now in trouble because of him." Duke frowned. "This place is packed with students wanting to defeat you just so they can get a higher standing." His expression sharpened. "Don't lose to anyone," he turned around, "you can only lose to me." Duke left without another word.

'Is everyone that attends academies a weirdo?' Cale thought, closing the door. He paid his words no mind. 'Something just doesn't sit right with him though.' Cale frowned.

"Dad!" Hong called out. "Who was that?!"

Cale went over and sat back on the bed where everyone else, his kids and Eruhaben, was. "A student from this academy."
