Cale glanced at Julian, signaling something.
Julian nodded slowly. "I'm sorry for my rude actions." He bent down 90 degrees, apologizing. "Please forgive me."
Kayden and Kartein looked at Cale, waiting for an answer.
"It's okay.." Cale awkwardly turned away.
"We'll get going now." Kayden swung his arm over Cale's shoulder and dragged him off.
Kartein frowned. "Get your hands off him."
The kids shortly left as well.
"I apologize for the inconvenience." Jiyoung bowed down respectfully.
"It's alright." Veramont replied. "It was unpredictable anyways." His gaze was fixated on the door.
The Patrick family returned to their lodgings.
"Is something wrong, Alberu?" A man asked Julian as he entered the room.
Julian sighed, plopping onto the chair. He ruffled his hair with his hand. "I found Cale."
The man's eyes widened. "Cale-nim is here?!"
Alberu nodded. "He's in South Korea, under Shinhwa's protection. We'll be able to see him again soon, Choi Han."
Choi Han smiled brightly. "I'll be waiting, Cale-nim."
"You'll be accompanying us to our next trip to South Korea. I'll ask Veramont to include you." Alberu unbuttoned his shirt.
Choi Han nodded.
Alberu tapped on the chair's armrest.
Choi Han glanced at the ticking fingers. "Is something wrong?"
Alberu furrowed his brows, closing his stinging eyes as he massaged his forehead. "There were two men alongside Cale. They seemed pretty close."
Choi Han flinched. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" He asked Alberu, not in a very nice tone.
Alberu sweated. He slowly nodded.
BANG!
"Choi Han!" Alberu jumped up from his seat. "Don't go around destroying the place. I don't have much power or influence in this world." His lips twitched. "I can't cover for something like this."
The wall to the left of Choi Han crumbled down, revealing an irrelevant room.
"I hope those men don't hurt Cale-nim, or else it won't just be blood that spills." Choi Han's gaze changed into a more intimidating, deadly glare.
'I hope so too.' Alberu prayed while on the verge of tears.
"Hey. Do you know that bastard?" Kayden asked Cale, back inside his cat form.
Kartein also waited intently. Jiwoo sat by the side, confused and innocent of what's to come. They were currently in the basement, for unknown reasons.
"No." Cale answered simply. 'Technically I don't know "Julian".' He justified his choice.
"That's good." Kayden sat back, relieved.
'What does it have to do with you?' Cale stared at the fat cat's bulging belly. "Anyways. Who is the Patrick family?"
Cale's cats, children, climbed onto this lap, purring and asking for attention.
"They're a bunch of shit-heads who don't know their place." Kayden tsked, finding his way around Cale's question. "Don't fill your head with thoughts of that bastard."
'What's wrong with him?' Cale petted his children gently one by one side to side. 'I guess it doesn't matter. I can just ask Alberu.'
Kartein tapped his paw on Cale's thigh. "The Patrick family does illegal things. You shouldn't get involved with them."
That was clearly a lie.
Kayden and Kartein glared at Cale intensely, making sure he got the message.
Cale sweated. "Alright." He nodded calmly.
"Someone like that is getting married to noona?" Jiwoo furrowed his brows, a bit upset-mad. "I can't allow noona to marry such a guy. She deserves someone good!"
Kayden smirked. "Then let's beat up that Julian prick!" He clenched his paws, hitting his knuckles against each other.
Jiwoo clenched his fist with an enthusiastically cute yet eager expression. "Yes, mr. Kayden!"
Kayden chuckled like a maniac.
"..."
The others watched the duo, dumbfounded.
Cale picked up the kids and got up.
"Where are you going?" Kartein stopped him.
"I'm going to sleep." Cale headed upstairs into his bedroom. He let the kitties into the room.
"Meow~ let's go to sleep." Ohn and Hong jumped onto the bed, followed by Raon and Eruhaben.
Cale shortly joined them, falling onto the soft bed. "Kids." He caught their attention.
"What is it, human?" Raon sat up.
"Did something happen again?" Ohn asked, cozying up into the blanket.
Cale closed his eyes. "I met with Alberu."
"Cookie prince?!" The kids jumped up. "He's here?!" They twirled around excitedly.
"The crown prince is here?" Eruhaben repeated. "Looks like he'll have a rough time." He sighed.
"He'll come visit us soon." Cale spoke as he fell asleep.
"Faster! I can see your movements now! Keep up the same pace if you want to beat that bastard!"
Cale could heard Kayden's shouting from the highest peak. He tossed around to his side, covering himself up to the top of his neck with the blanket he and the kids shared.
Knock knock
A knock, at this time? It didn't come from the door.
Cale groaned, flipping the blanket to the side as he slowly got up. He rubbed his eyes, opening them up.
Eruhaben also woke up, fully aware. He patiently waited in bed.
Knock knock
It came again.
Cale glanced at the window, yes, the window. 'Couldn't have come at a better time.' He sarcastically thought as he went over to open the windows.
Tap
Someone came inside the room. Julian Patrick, or also known as Alberu Crossman by a few in this world.
"Hello, my dear dongsaeng." Alberu greeted Cale.
Cale didn't greet him back. "What did you want to say?"
"Mmm..." The kids groaned. Seems like they've also been waken up.
"I see the kids and Eruhaben are also here." Alberu smiled softly.
"Get to the point." Cale crossed his arms.

I'm so unmotivated I might just start writing like I'm 5 years old on crack.
The chapters might get shorter and shorter like actual eleceed chapters??? Lol
Why the hell did I allow myself to put a 1000 word goal for each chapter? (I'm writing up this complaint at word count 642)
