"Cookie prince?"

The kids rubbed their eyes, yawning as they awoke from their slumber.

"Good morning, you three." Alberu greeted them with a bright smile upon awakening.

"What're you doing here?" The cats asked.

"Did you bring cookies as well?!" Roan reached his hands out excitedly.

Alberu smiled sadly. "I'm afraid not today. If I had known you guys were here, I would've prepared some in advance."

The kids groaned. "It's alright..."

"Anyways. I came here today with Choi Han." Alberu announced.

A gust of wind entered the room, followed by a person.

"Strong human!"

The kids pounced onto him.

"It's nice to see you guys again." Choi Han greeted them with open arms. "You too, Cale-nim." He smiled brightly at Cale.

Cale waved back awkwardly. "Is it just you two, or are there more of you?" He turned to Alberu.

Alberu shook his head. "As far as we know, it's just us."

Cale nodded. "Also, those two from before are aiming to hunt you down." Cale groaned as he clutched onto his upset stomach.

"What do you mean?" Alberu tilted his head, confused.

"That guy called Kayden and his disciple, Seo Jiwoo." Cale clarified. "They've been training to beat you up."

Alberu sweated nervously.

"Don't worry, Cale-nim. We'll save you!" Choi Han reassured Cale.

'It's not me who's going to get hurt...' Cale glanced at the unwell Alberu.

"I'll kill those bastards for laying their hands on Cale-nim." The aura around Choi Han changed, it became more tense and stiff.

"Calm down, Choi Han." Cale offered some insight. "They won't hurt me."

"You don't know that!" Choi Han returned to a stubborn child. "They might have hidden motives!"

'I'm sure it's not like that.' Cale ignored him. He knew Jiwoo wasn't that type of person, at least he hoped so, but Cale couldn't say the same for Kayden. He glanced at the closed door. "You should leave now. They'll wake up any moment now."

Alberu nodded.

"Can't I stay by your side, Cale-nim?" Choi Han asked, wearing a sulking face.

Alberu looked at Choi Han with the "aren't you my bodyguard?" look.

"No." Cale instantly declined. "Get out now." He ordered.

"Alright..." Choi Han sulked as he left back through the window with Alberu.

Cale scurried the kids into the bathroom, making their sleepyheads brush their teeth and wash their faces.

"Cale!" Jiwoo greeted Cale as he fed the cats their breakfast. "How was your sleep?"

"It was fine." Cale answered. 'If only a certain someone didn't interrupt it.' He thought. "You should also eat, don't skip your meals." Cale reminded the forgetful Jiwoo.

"Haha.." Jiwoo laughed awkwardly, knowing he's getting scolded right now.

The kids jumped down the stairs simultaneously one after another.

Ding!

Dong!

"Who's that?" Cale asked, looking towards the front door.
