They were shortly transported for a health check.

"Are you alright?" Kartein asked.

Cale returned to his room, he refused to get treated by the staff. "It hurts, but I'll survive."

"It doesn't matter whether you survive or not, you're in pain." Kartein lectured Cale. "Come here, I'll heal you." Rather than Cale going to him, Kartein went to Cale.

"I can heal myself."

"It'll be faster if I did it." Kartein shushed him.

"Dad...!" The kids were on the verge of tears, joined along by Choi Han.

"Why did you do something so hasty like that?" Eruhaben scolded Cale. "You could've gotten seriously hurt!"

"He's already seriously hurt." Kartein gritted his teeth angrily.

The two menacingly glared at Cale.

It's just a scar...

Cale closed his eyes. "Go heal Jiwoo if you have time. He was also seriously hurt."

"..." Kartein sighed. "Fine, but you should look out for yourself more." He warned Cale.

It's fine, Cale thought. He was already healthy, thanks to his heart.

"Jiwoo! Cale!"

Jiwoo and Cale arrived at the infirmary, where the other students were getting treated at.

"The World Awakened Academy will be closed for a while. They will be remeasuring the safety protocols and rebuilding the academy." Inhyuk broke the news to them. "We'll be returning to South Korea as soon as we fully recover."

The kids nodded, understanding his words.

"What will happen with the academy?" Cale asked. If the state of the WAA affected them, it would be quite bothersome to deal with though he could just leave the work to Alberu.

"It'll face a lot of backlash, since many heirs to worldwide organizations learn here. But it won't affect us, don't worry." Inhyuk gave a reassuring smile.

Cale nodded.

As the kids were having a heartfelt reunion, Cale went outside to catch his breath.

Soon, a crowd of kids swarmed around him.

Cale wondered what they wanted, but his question was shortly answered.

"Cale, right?"

"We.. just wanted to thank you.. and apologize for how we acted towards you guys..."

"You saved us back there...! If you didn't interfere, I'm afraid we wouldn't even be here..."

"Yeah.. you saved the whole academy!"

Cale sighed, smiling. No matter how much they act like they're mature, they're still little kids after all. "It's nothing. Anyone would've done the same." Especially Jiwoo, he was already ready to throw his life away.

The kids' admiration only grew larger.

"What are you doing out late at night?" Cale asked. He went outside to check the noise, only to find Jiwoo wandering the hallways.

Jiwoo turned around, a bit surprised. "Ah, Cale-nim. I was just taking a walk, wanna join?"

Cale nodded. It had been a long day and he needed a break from it.
