The students were about to leave to their respective places after the academy was over. However, Jiwoo and his friends stopped.
"What do you mean Cale won't be coming back with us?" Jiwoo asked, worried and saddened.
"Hey.. I didn't agree to go with you just because I'm your disciple." Cale frowned.
"I know." Seongik smiled. "But you're still my disciple. How will you learn when you're so far away?"
'Ever heard of a car or plane, old man?' Cale commented. "I'm not going with you." He kept refusing.
"You don't have a choice." Seongik slyly smiled.
"Principal!" Jiwoo stood in front of Cale, protecting him. "How can you do that to someone who's unwilling?!" Although he didn't want to fight, he was determined.
Seongik backed up, hands in the air. "I didn't mean it like that." He sweated.
"Let's go, mr. Cale." Jiwoo gently brought Cale aside.
"Cale." Seongik called out for his attention. "You're still my disciple, so I'll stop by Shinhwa sometimes as check up on your progress." He waved goodbye.
Cale nervously nodded. 'I hope you don't.' He prayed.
They boarded the yacht and left back to their homeland. Once they hit land, they transferred to a car.
Ring!
Ring!
"Yes, chairwoman? What's the matter?" Inhyuk picked up the phone as he drove. One hand holding the phone and the other on the wheel. After a brief moment, his face became distorted with shock. "What?!"
His sudden reaction scared the kids.
'What is it now?' Cale thought as he brushed his cats.
Jisuk leaned over Inhyuk's chair. "What happened?"
"Veramont Patrick and his grandson is at Shinhwa..."
The kids, except for Cale's children, Cale, and Jiwoo, flinched. They seemed heavily shocked by his answer.
Bang!
"I'm back, noona." Jisuk barged into Jiyoung's office with Inhyuk.
The rest who were dragged into this matter stood outside the door, watching the situation unfold.
Cale's eyes widened.
"Is that your younger brother?" The bearded old man asked Jiyoung as he faced Jisuk.
"Yeah." Jisuk answered for him.
"Your younger brother's not that bad." He observed Jisuk.
"Thank you for the compliment." Jiyoung turned to Jisuk. "Could you step out for a bit, Jisuk?"
The old man smirked. "No need. We're going to be family after all."
(Writing this and rereading the manhwa part of this, I just realized how creepy Veramont was here 😨).
"What?" Jisuk's eyes widened. "We're going to be family?"
The younger man between the two got up. "It's not confirmed yet." He was calm and composed. "My name is Julian Patrick. Nice to meet you." His eyes averted to Cale.
Cale flinched, he hid his face behind the others.
Jisuk ignored the boy. "What the hell does that mean. Family? Noona, don't tell me, you're marrying this guy?!"
