Chapter 92 — Sports Challenges + Aquatic Observation

Wayne Academy Silver Island Field Trip — Day 3

After a chaotic morning of flying flippers, mysterious section victories, and one too many soaked socks, the students of Wayne Academy returned to the hotel, changed into fresh, dry clothes, and gathered for the much-anticipated Aquatic Observation.

Miexha, Asha, Jayson, and Zatariel strolled together in matching white shirts with soft glitter lettering that read:

"TOGETHER FOREVER"

Asha had insisted on the shirts.

"If we're going to look like lost kindergarteners, we're going to slay while doing it."

The Massive Underwater Aquarium Dome rose before them like a submerged cathedral.

Reinforced crystal glass curved overhead, revealing the deep sea beyond—dark, endless, alive. Shadows drifted past the dome's surface, enormous and silent, like thoughts too large to understand.

Inside, the air was cool, hushed.

Even Section 7 and 8 kept their voices down.

Chairs at the back were marked:

"Behavioral Watch Zone."

Asha whispered, "That's so dramatic. I want one."

"Sure, I'll tell dad," Jayson muttered.

"I don't want it anymore." She winced.

At the front stood two figures who commanded the room without trying.

Zaren Wov—sharp, composed, radiating controlled authority.

And beside him— Soria Meriden. She shimmered under the soft blue lighting, her silvery wrap catching every flicker of the water outside.

She stepped forward first.

"This park," she began, voice calm and clear, "Silvery Water Park... was born four hundred years ago. The same day as the Blue City Museum and the Yellow City Zoo."

A memory.

"It was once our family's pride. Our legacy beneath the sea."

Then she rested a hand on Zaren's arm.

"And now, I entrust it to this promising beanpole."

A ripple of laughter moved through the students.

Zaren cleared his throat, clearly unamused.

"We've implemented structural upgrades," he continued smoothly, "including eco-stabilization systems, expanded marine habitats, and an enhanced observation dome for deeper visibility."

A beat.

"And I would like to thank my investors."

He glanced at Zatariel.

"Especially my son's annual allowance."

Zatariel blinked.

"...So I own part of a jellyfish tank now?"

Miexha covered her mouth, giggling softly.

Soria stepped forward again, distributing glossy flyers filled with illustrations of coral, pearls, and sea creatures.

"Silver Island is rich in marine life—and in stories," she said.
"Our divers harvest pearls with care. Our ecosystem thrives on balance."

Her gaze flicked just for a moment to the glass.
