Chapter 91 — Sports Challenges + Aquatic Observation
Wayne Academy Silver Island
Field Trip — Day 3
The sun hadn't fully climbed the sky yet, but the Silvery Water Park was already buzzing with student voices, echoing footsteps, and the slap of rubber soles on polished floors.
Inside Suite 304, Day 3 started like a sitcom.
Miexha blinked her eyes open to a spoonful of cereal floating near her lips.
"Come on, baby bun. One more bite for Mama Asha."
Asha Dom stood at her bedside wearing a whistle, a sporty headband, and the expression of someone who had fully committed to motherhood overnight.
"Ashaaa..." Miexha giggled, voice still soft with sleep.
"I can eat on my own..."
"No, you can't," Asha said firmly.
"You're too delicate. And too cute. You're my baby now."
She gently pushed the spoon forward while tucking the blanket tighter around Miexha's legs like she was protecting a national treasure.
Zatariel Wov was engaged in a personal battle.
One arm is trying to zip up his track jacket.
The other is attempting to scratch his back.
"Ow—ow—Asha, you spanked too hard," he groaned. "That counts as assault."
From the other side of the room, Jayson Dom—already fully dressed in a perfectly pressed navy sports uniform—tossed a cold water bottle at him without even looking.
"Shouldn't have left the beer can in the bin, genius."
Zatariel caught it mid-air. "...That was your idea."
Asha's head snapped toward them. Her glare crossed the room like a flying slipper.

"Micro-criminals, both of you."
A pause.
"Jayson, I don't care if you triple-bagged it and threw it in tourist trash. I have eyes everywhere."
Jayson didn't respond. Which, somehow, meant she was right.
A few minutes later, the bathroom door clicked open.
And Miexha stepped out.
For a moment, the room went quiet.
She wore a cheer uniform in soft white and baby blue, navy accents lining the edges. Ribboned socks. A high ponytail that bounced with every step.
Zatariel froze. Completely.
"...Oh." A beat. "Oh no."
He pressed a hand to his chest.
"My heart just saw a fairy in a pleated skirt."
Jayson grabbed his camera.
"Take a picture," he said calmly.
"It'll last longer."
"I am," Asha said from behind her phone—already twelve photos in.
"Hands on your hips, Miexha. Tilt your chin—yes, like that, baby."
She zoomed in dramatically.
"Now give me ✨'I'm cheering but secretly fragile'✨."
Miexha turned bright red. Still, she tried to follow the pose.
"I'm just a cheerleader today," she whispered shyly.
Zatariel leaned slightly closer, voice soft but dramatic as ever—
