Miexha sat quietly inside her pink room in the Wayne Mansion—soft light filtering through lace curtains, the shelves filled with plushies, ribbons, and all the cute things she once adored. Everything looked the same, but the air felt strangely still.
She didn’t know she was locked in.
Sarah had told her she only needed to rest for a while—that she shouldn’t use any gadgets or contact anyone until she was fully recovered.
Miexha didn’t question it. She was in perfect health, even better than before, yet she chose to believe her mother’s gentle lies. Deep inside, she felt an emptiness she couldn’t explain, like something was missing—something she’d forgotten.
At school, Sarah had spread the story that Miexha had suffered a severe head injury and was still in critical condition. Her classmates in Section 6 believed it. They even placed her photo on her seat, surrounded by flowers and letters, praying every morning for her recovery.
When Zatariel heard the news, he couldn’t eat for days. He buried himself in student council work, drowning his thoughts in endless paperwork to avoid the ache in his chest.
Jayson wasn’t any better—he couldn’t focus in class, every silence reminding him of her. He partly blamed himself for everything—for ending their engagement, for not being there when she needed him.
Asha, however, reacted the worst. The tomboyish girl nearly got herself expelled after hearing a careless student in the cafeteria say,
“Maybe Miexha’s better off dead. She was never that important anyway.”
The next moment, chaos erupted. Asha’s punch came faster than anyone could stop her—the student’s face bloodied, tables crashing around them. By the time Zatariel and Jayson arrived to break the fight, it was already too late.
Asha was immediately transferred to Section 7—the class for troublemakers.
She didn’t regret it.
Meanwhile, every night, Zatariel found himself wandering near the Wayne Mansion. He would stop by the gates, staring at the pink-lit window on the second floor.
He never knew—
that behind those curtains, Miexha was awake too.
Humming a tune she couldn’t remember composing.
A golden melody that carried faint traces of sorrow and something forgotten, like a dream slipping away.

Author’s Note – from ExySexyMe 💋🎤
Dear Readers,
If you made it all the way here, to the end of Golden Melody…
First of all—are you okay?
Do you need a hug? A tissue? A therapist?
Because same. 😭💔✨
This book was a lot—tears, timelines, plot twists, bunnies, romance, betrayal, glitter, more tears, and one emotionally constipated boy with perfect hair.
But through it all—you stayed. You believed in Miexha’s voice. In Zatariel’s loyalty. In the dream that even in a world full of war and memory wipes, love still finds a way to sing.
Golden Melody is more than just a love story. It’s the beginning and the end of the Zenips Paradise lore.
But guess what?
There’s a lot of delicious chaos in between.
And I, ExySexyMe (™), demand you read them. For your health. For your heart. For Damian.
Here’s your reading prescription, darlings:
📕 His Crowned Meal – Our favorite immortal chaos god Damian crash-lands on Earth and falls in love with a girl he was supposed to EAT. Romantic, right?
📕 My Way Back – The tragic love story of Ofreigha, Damian’s wife… for the 11th time. She’s supposed to be protected. Instead, she’s hunted by his family. Typical in-laws.
📕 The Hybrid – Kyliah Vargas, Damian’s missing daughter, survives the Green Garden Program and starts asking very illegal questions. Things explode. Metaphorically. And literally.
📕 Grema Outbreak – Five genius kids create a virus that turns humans into plants. (Yes. You read that right.) Zenips, school trauma, and questionable scientific ethics ensue.
📕 Marie The Hybrid – Marie, Damian’s daughter, Features cringey flirting, bed scenes, GL romance, and Asha Dom being a menace in heels. 🌈💅
📕 The Last Meriden – Seleina, a mermaid hybrid with serious anger issues, does NOT want to save the world. She just wants you to shut up and stay out of her ocean. 🧜♀️
📕 Blood and Blade – Sister vs. sister. War vs. peace. Shellie and Xefariel finally snap. May or may not include a dramatic sword duel on a spaceship. 🔥
📕 The Guardians – The final stand. Humans vs. Zenips. Old heroes, new alliances, intergalactic drama, and one last shot at saving what’s left of Earth.
And finally…
📕 Golden Melody – You’re here. You’ve witnessed the full loop.
From the first love to the last goodbye.
From dreams to truth…
And back again.

Thank you for laughing with me, crying with me, and probably yelling at your phone at least three times. I love you for it.
Now go read the rest. Or re-read this one. Or scream into a pillow. Whatever brings you peace.
💛
Forever chaotic,
ExySexyMe
