Isaiah suggested that we'd plan a date, well more like I plan it. Us having sex actually got us talking. Guess you could say we're moving in the right direction. Though it's still hard to tell right now. Especially with what I have planned for us. We're going to just have a sit down and chat over some drinks and dinner. I think it'd be nice for us to have a conversation and put everything on the table. Hopefully we can express our feelings and be understanding of each other. Me, more so than her with a more open mind. We'll see how the night actually goes.
I walk around the store with Sire in the cart trying to find items that I need for tonight. I decided to give Isaiah a break and take him for the day while she relaxed. With the help of Lynx, she would be driving Sai around to shop and get pampered. Paid of course, because she is working on moving out of our parents house and on her own. I'm sure when the time comes Sai will be at her side with my wallet to help Lyn make her first apartment her dream space.
"Which one do you think your mommy would like? Roses or these mums and sunflowers?" I ask Art with a bouquet of flowers in each hand. Sire stares at both of them, moving his head slowly from side to side before raising a hand to grab at the bouquet of sunflowers and mums on the left. "Good choice, my boy. Her favorite."
I grab a pack of steak, as well as potatoes and asparagus to cook tonight. Issaiah has been making sure to keep her drinking to a minimum and only drinks on special occasions. If she does have a drink she makes sure to pump and dump. Tonight would be one of those nights. I grab a couple of bottles of Risata sweet red moscato that Sai likes to drink, including a bag of her favorite chocolate. We make our way to the register to checkout out after getting everything on our list.
"I'm going to put you in and then the groceries. Do you need to eat before we pull off or do you think you can wait until we get home after the next store?" I ask Sire. He looks at me with a face of concentration before babbling trying to give me an answer.
I make sure to go ahead and feed him now knowing that he could become grumpy if he doesn't get a chance to eat at the time he starts getting hungry. Dada doesn't want any problems trying to comfort him when he's hungry. Sire is just like Issaiah when it comes to their food. We watch cars pass as he eats. The sounds of him sucking on the bottles tickles me.
"It's that good huh? Mommy got the best milk right?" Sire looks up at me but says nothing as he reverts his eyes back to the passing cars.
My phone rings knocking me out of my thoughts and conversation with Sire. Prince's face flashes on my screen. Even though I was tempted to take the call, I let it go to voicemail knowing l'd call him back tomorrow.
"Ready son?" I ask Sire when he's finished. We head out of the parking lot to our final destination. I'm not one to frivolously spend money but I do want Issaiah to know how much I appreciate her. Despite the problems that we've been having, I do want her to know that no matter what I'm going to care for her and show her how much she means to me. She's been wanting some new necklaces to match the one I got for her when Sire was born. I placed an order a for a necklace with Sire's birth time and a necklace with my name on it since I know she'd never get it tattooed. At least she can wear it and let niggas know she's taken if the ring isn't on her finger.
When all errands are ran, I go home to drop off the bags starting with the groceries. Issaiah and Lynx haven't made it back yet which gives me a chance to hide some stuff so she doesn't get a chance to be nosey. I place Sire in his harness to carry him around while I straighten the house up. Eventually we'd get a maid to come help us clean from time to time but until then, I'll be the one taking care of that responsibility when I get the chance to. Profit by Doechii plays throughout the room while I clean up. Lynx actually put me on to this artist and she's really talented. Her double entendres go hard, it's nice seeing her get her flowers so early on from other artists in the industry.
