The events from the other night was not what I expected to happened, but it did. The sex was great, but that might've been all it was. I don't want to read more into it than Issaiah created it to be. I also don't want to be the one to initiate the conversation. There's a possibility that shit will remain the same and we'd still be on a different page than the other. As unfortunate as it is, that's the space we've been in. Who knows when we'd get back to how we used to be.
I watch on the security camera as Sai pulls up to the house from her weekend at Zanah's. She's talking and laughing as she gets out of the car and walks to the door. The conversation ends before she steps inside. I'm in my art room with Sire holding him as he helps paint on the semi-filled canvas. Sai finds her way to us grabbing Sire from me when she gets close. She's quick to shower him with kisses.
"Hi my SiBear. Mommy missed you so much my love." Sire babbles and squeals, giving Sai a gummy smile. I smile at how happy they both are to see each other. "How was he while I was gone?" She asks taking a seat on the coach I moved into the room.
"He was good. The boys came over and brought more toys that kept him busy."
"Of course they did." She laughs. "What'd they bring?"
"A bouncer, piano mat, and some cactus toy that moves when noise is created. They got some pampers and wipes for him too." I tell her trying to recall everything.
"How sweet, I have to remember to thank them."
"How was it with your girls?" I ask in hopes she'd bring up us having sex in the process.
"It was good, it was exactly what I needed. Very relaxing and stress free." Her eyes meet mine, thoughts of the night runs through my head. I can still hear her moans ringing in my ears. A smile starts to creep on my face.
"Glad you had a good time."
"Me too." Her face brightens up as a thought comes to mind. "Guess what I found out."
"What?" I ask not even taking a second to figure out what would be the next thing to come out of her mouth.
"Merci and Eric are having a baby."
"Whoa, congratulations to them. I thought Merci didn't want kids?"
"She changed her mind. Guess she was just waiting on the right man to come along." Glad shit is working out for them.
"Do they know what they're having?"
"Not yet, but the girls and I have been planning her baby shower. She's going to reveal the gender then."
"Aight, that's dope. Sire will finally have someone to play with."
"That's what I said." She turns her attention to Sire. "You hear that snooks, you're going to have someone to play with soon."
"And mommy and dada didn't have to create one for you." I joke. Sai looks over at me ready to say something.
"Not yet at least."
"Word?" I pull at my chin hair waiting for her response.
"I mean we do plan on having more kids, right?"
"Yeah, but who knows when that might be." She makes a face peaking my curiosity. "You got something you want to share with the class?"
"No, I'm just thinking we may need to start using condoms if we're planning to wait until he's older to give him a sibling."
"Each time?"
"Yeah, it only takes one time to get pregnant."
"Aight, just remind me to put one on next time." I don't mind putting one on, but it's not on my mind when I'm fucking someone I trust.
