Your POV

Ever since Eggs and his family of Boxtrolls 'kept' you that night, you were very much thankful since now. They gave you a home, food (that are disgusting at first but it's delicious), and a family.

From all that time, you forgot about a person which made you be with Eggs right now.

But you couldn't be more thankful to that person. If he didn't get all cranky at you, you wouldn't of met your 6-month boyfriend, Eggs.

Yes, it's boyfriend.

Both of you hang out after that very night, sneaking in and out of houses to get some junk used to create a new masterpiece. You and him are really helpful to the boxtrolls.

You even learned new things thanks to them, like sneaking, being quiet, fixing things, inventing things from scrap, eating bugs that taste good, and so much more.

Plus, you even earned a box.

It has a purple 'flower' picture on the background, and in it's bold text, the word written there was 'Violet' in purple writing. It was actually 'Violets', but the 's' got erased due to dust and the box's old-looking age.

And since boxtrolls call each other by their boxes, you were called 'Violet' as your name-- except for Eggs. He claimed that (y/n) was much more beautiful, and thus he preferred to call you that.

You officially became a boxtroll since then.

And both you and your boyfriend, Eggs, was pretty much together with no worries. Both of you were even approved by Fish, Eggs' 'parent'.

Oh, you also found out about Eggs' past. Thanks to all of your boxtroll friends. And, speaking Trollese, their language, was an add-on thanks again to your fellow boxtrolls.

One night, Fish instructed both of you and Eggs to get some materials for him while he gets more scraps of junk for an invention. Fish spoke in Trollese that he was too busy and since you and Eggs have nothing to do, you two were fit for the job.

So you and Eggs agreed to that, desperate to get out of your sewage home.

You and Eggs walked on the city's streets, hand in hand. Eggs was checking to see if he could spot the house of the person Fish was telling, as to you who was doing it as well.

Of course, it wouldn't hurt to enjoy a cold, relaxing mist of the wind in the night. You smiled in relief. And it made you realize while holding his hand, you felt that your life has been good since then indeed.
