{Nathan's POV}
I know this sounds a little weird, but I always wait outside Isabelle's house so we can leave for Inkopolis Plaza together. Today I didn't have to wake her up- she came outside at the perfect time. "Hey, Isabelle." I said. Isabelle smiled and cheerfully replied, "Good morning, Nathan! By the way, I heard on the news that Moray Towers is available for turf wars today!" I smiled back. At least she's acting like her normal self. "Well, what are we waiting for?" I said. "Let's go!"
As usual, Ellie and Max were outside Booyah Base waiting for us to arrive. "Hey, Nathan! Hey Isabelle! I see that you guys are finally on time for once!" Max joked. Ellie playfully shoved him. "Shut up, Max! By the way, are we all ready to go? Did anyone forget their weapons?" All of us nodded yes. "Let's go then! Turf wars await us!"{Isabelle's POV}
As the four of us arrived at our starting point at Moray Towers, I noticed how... High up we are. I'll be fine. Don't look down. Yep. Perfect. Heh heh...
"3...2...1...GO!"
Our team immediately split up to ink turf more efficiently. I had to try and ram into enemy base to take them down head-on. Ellie would stay high up and take out enemies from above. Max would eventually roll his way up to me, and Nathan (who came up with this brilliant plan) would just do his thing and take out enemies while coating turf. As I ran up to the enemy base, I looked down to make sure everyone was doing alright.{Nathan's POV}
I was just doing what always do during a turf war (spraying ink everywhere). Why was Isabelle watching me so weirdly? She then gave me a thumbs-up and continued on her way. So did I, before I was almost splatted. There was a girl in front of me wielding a Forge Splattershot Pro, and wore a black hoodie with the hood up. She must have been pretty high leveled, because she was no slouch at all when I fought her. She was extremely ink efficient, and used bombs at just the right time. Truth be told, a stray ink bullet hit her because I was just firing everywhere and that splatted her. She was a fun fight, but who was she? I looked over at the enemy base. Isabelle was almost there.{Isabelle's POV}
As I ran up to the enemy base, I was almost ready to take them all out. Forty-five seconds were left in the match, and just two enemy inklings were standing in my way. One was holding a Classic Squiffer, the other wielding a Forge Splattershot Pro. The Squiffer was no problem, but when I saw the girl with the Forge Splattershot Pro, I would have thought otherwise. She was like a beast, with swift movements and could have easily taken down the most experienced battle. I just closed my eyes, ducked, and shot rapidly. "DESISTDESISTDESIST!" I heard a high-pitched whining noise as her gun fell to the ground. "Hah! Eat ink, you worthless commoner!"
"3...2...1...STOP!" As I heard the word 'stop', I immediately froze and ran back to rendezvous with my team to hear the results. "And the winner is... TEAM ORANGE!!!" I looked over at my teammates as a huge grin crept across my face. "WE DID IT!!! WE WON! WEEEE WOOOOON!!!" I was literally jumping up and down, running around, and hugging anyone within my parameter. Nathan said, "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go celebrate!"
