{Isabelle's POV}
"C'mon, guys! The tower is right here!" I shouted. I was in the middle of a Tower Control match in Flounder Heights, and I was going to need all the help I could get.
I heard Nathan super jump over to me. "WATCH OUT! IIIIIIINCOOOOOOMIIIIING!" He face-planted right on the tower. "Perfect timing!" I cheered.
It's been almost two weeks since we defeated Nami. Because of this, we have a lot more time for battle. Our team rank is currently B+, almost A.
I heard someone pop out of the ink behind me. "Say goodbye, sucker!" They taunted. I heard a sharp blast as their gun fell to the ground. I looked up above and saw Ellie, who had taken out the interloper.
Nathan was continuing to protect the tower, but a guy with a Custom Splattershot Jr. crept up to the tower. He was about to take it...
Until the ground started shaking like crazy.
"Whoa!" I shouted. "What's going on?!" The Tower began to wobble, and Nathan hopped off just in time. "EVERYONE, TAKE COVER!" Max shouted from afar. We all ran over to where it was safe, and I heard a loud crash as the Tower collapsed. And just like that, it was over. Everyone was safe.
Except for that poor kid with the Custom Splattershot Jr. The tower had fallen on him. "Help meeee!" He cried. His teammates ran over to help him, and I heard the speaker switch on.
"Due to unforeseen circumstances, the match is called off. Please exit the area."
"Are you squiddin' me?" Max growled. "We were so close to the next rank! SO CLOSE!" Ellie grabbed his shoulder. "Calm down, Max." Max angrily stomped out of the area, his roller dragging behind him.
{Orlaith's POV}
As soon as the others set one foot outside of the tower, I ran over to them screaming. "GUYS!!! HOW WAS THE MATCH?!?! DIDJA WIN?!" Isabelle shook her head. "There was an earthquake or something... The match was called off. You felt it, didn't you?"
I responded, "Felt what? There was no earthquake." Max shouted, "HOW DID YOU NOT FEEL IT?! IT WAS SO HUGE, THE TOWER COLLAPSED!"
Suddenly, I began to put two and two together. An earthquake, only in the Battle Area... "GUYS!!" I yelled. "I think I know what happened..."
"...And if it really is true, we're all in danger."
I hopped out of the rusty kettle, followed by everyone else. "I thought I would never have to go through that monstrosity again..." Nathan whined. Cap'n Cuttlefish was asleep. I crept up to him to silently wake him...
"CAP'N! WAKE UP! HOW CAN YOU BE SLEEPING AT A TIME LIKE THIS?!"
His eyes snapped open. "HUH?! WHAT?! Oh, it's just you. What do you kids need?"
"We need help. Quick question- do you still have those Zapfish?" I asked. The Cap'n chortled. "Hahaha! Of course I do, dearie. They're just back here-"
"WHAT IN BLAZES?! They're- They're gone!" He shouted. "The only thing there was this piece of paper!"
I grabbed the paper from his hand, unfolded it, and read it aloud.
"'We took these, yo.' ...There's a signature at the bottom but their handwriting is so terrible, I can hardly read it."
There was a weird stain of Magenta Ink on the paper. I knew exactly what happened. "Guys! The Zapfish... They were stolen!" I exclaimed. "They were stolen by DJ Oc-" I was cut off when the ground started shaking.
"Not another earthquake!" Isabelle cried. My eyes strayed over to the large kettle a few yards away. The kettle was shaking almost as wildly as the ground. I heard a slow moan as the quaking stopped, and then a large thud.
"YOU SEE?! THAT'S HOW CRAZY IT WAS!" Max screamed. I retorted, "Calm down, everyone! I know what happened to the Zapfish. They were stolen by DJ Octavio..."
"...To revive the Great Octoweapons." Everyone gasped. I pointed at the large kettle and said, "One of them is in there... At least I think so. There's more Octoweapons out there. If they're all activated, they'll wreak havoc on Inkopolis."
The Cap'n walked over to us and stated, "Isabelle! Nathan! You still have those hero suits, right?" They both nodded. "This is the biggest- and most dangerous- mission you'll undertake. I need all five of you to help me. You up to it?" We all saluted. "Yes, sir!"
"Great!" The Cap'n said. "Be here tomorrow morning at sunrise!"

{Isabelle's POV}
I groggily walked over to the kettle to meet up with the others. Nathan, Max, Ellie, and Orlaith were already there, waiting for me. "You're late, Isabelle..." Nathan said. I replied, "Sorry."
A group of familiar Inklings ran up to us. I realized that it was Kasai and her group. "Guys! You're leaving, right?" She asked. Orlaith replied, "We are."
Felix said, "We're sorry that we can't help you. Good luck out there." Jacki grinned and said, "You better come out of this alive!" Mark rolled his eyes. "Do your best." Kasai headed over to me and handed me two colorful hair bands. "They're for you and Nathan. Y'know, like good luck charms." I smiled and replied, "Thanks."
After all of that, we hopped into the kettle, setting off to protect Inkopolis.
I am so ready for this.
