{Isabelle's POV}
Ring! Ring! Ring!
I groggily opened my eyes and hit the snooze button on my alarm clock. "Good morning..." I mumbled to myself as I got up. Last night was so crazy, I hardly got any sleep. I stumbled downstairs and muttered, "G'morning, mom... G'morning, dad..." My dad replied, "Your shirt's on backwards." My mom asked, "How was yesterday? Was it fun?" I answered, "It was a real blast! The turf wars were fun, and..." My mom interrupted me with, "You're lying." My eyes widened. "What? I'm not lying..." My dad stopped me. "Isabelle, I told your mom everything." My face fell. "No way... You told her everything? Even about the octoling girl?" My dad nodded. My mom replied, "It's alright, sweetie. Just be extra careful, okay?" I nodded. My dad handed me my splattershot. "Don't forget this. I tinkered with it a bit, so the statistics are a bit higher." I smiled. "Thanks, dad."{Nathan's POV}
"Wasn't yesterday just the craziest?" Isabelle asked me. I nodded. "Insane. I still can't believe Orlaith attacked us again." Max slapped my back. "Don't be such a Debbie Downer. That was then and this is now, dude!" Ellie smiled. "Max's right. We'll all feel better after some turf wars." We all agreed and headed towards Inkopolis Tower."Our team is going to kick some real butt today!" Isabelle said enthusiastically. We all nodded in agreement. As the other team rose from their starting point, we all knew one thing.
"3...2...1... GO!"
We weren't gonna lose today.{Unknown POV}
I was watching the turf war, hoping to find at least one of them. Finally, I spotted one. She had orange tentacles with a small ponytail in the back. She was holding a Splattershot, and she was good with it. She easily took out an unsuspecting inkling in almost the blink of an eye. She must be one of them, I thought. Another inkling, a male one holding a .52 gal came over and high-fived her. That might be the other one, they both match Orlaith's descriptions... I've found them. Now all I have to do is capture them.{Nathan's POV}
"I still can't believe we almost lost," I said. Isabelle nodded. "We were ahead by... Uh... How many points was it?" Ellie replied, "About two points, I believe." Max groaned. "I can't believe I was splatted by a Carbon Roller. A CARBON ROLLER! Pfft, more like Carbon TROLLer!" We all laughed. Max isn't perfect when it came to turf wars, but he is great with puns. While we were all laughing our guts out, a girl walked up to us, her eyes as wide as dinner plates. Upon closer inspection, she had unusual rose-gold tentacles and wore a white lacy dress and a straw hat. Oddly enough, she wore a pair of dark sunglasses, contrasting her dainty appearance. "I saw you four out there! You were all increeeeedible!" I couldn't help but blush. "Uh, thanks." I replied. The girl smiled and cheerfully said, "A victory like that should not go unnoticed! I'm gonna throw a HUGE party! Eight o'clock tonight, OK?" We all exchanged glances. After what seemed like forever, Max answered, "Who am I to miss a party?" Ellie replied, "I don't see why not." Isabelle just nodded, kind of reluctantly. "Fine, I'll go," I said. The girl joyfully replied, "WOOT! I can't wait! Oh, by the way, My name is Mani!" And before she ran off, she winked at me. I wonder why.
