{Kasai's POV}
It took us forever, but we finally managed to track down Nami. She had run off to Octo Valley like the true coward she was. I popped out of the manhole, followed by everyone else.
"Geez, that thing is dusty..." Felix whined. I poked him with my elbow. "Shut up! We're on a mission or whatever!" Honestly, I had no clue.
Isabelle stared at the horizon and pointed to a large octopus-shaped cliff with a waterfall running over it in the distance. "I thought I just saw Nami there! AFTER HEEEEER!" Isabelle shouted.
When we got there, Nami was preparing to escape on a UFO. Her two companions, one with Gold hair and the other with bronze, were on the UFO, waiting for her.
"Hurry up! Those kids can't possibly get up here!" The gold one shouted. I looked over to Felix and nodded. Felix changed into a squid and dove for Nami's ankles. Nami tried to jump onto the ship, but Felix's firm grip on her ankle prevented it. Nami fell face-first onto the ground as the spacecraft flew away without her.
"Ugh, not you stupid kids again!" Nami exulted. Nami shook Felix off, but she accidentally activated the next part of our plan.
Felix gave the signal to Mark and Jacki-
"NGYES!"
They aimed their weapons and fired. Nami yelped and fell back. She almost fell off of the cliff. I approached the trembling octoling and she asked, "What do you want?! Why are you doing this?!"
My eyes began to well up with tears as the memories rushed through my head. I kept pushing her back until there was no more room on the cliff. "My stepfather almost killed me and Felix because of you. You've tried a countless number of times to kill my best friends. You're a bloodthirsty, heartless MONSTER!"
Nami was obviously losing her footing. She was about to fall off the cliff and into the water below. "Alright, kid. You win. I'll get out of here..." She smirked and grabbed my jersey.
"BUT YOU'RE COMING WITH ME!"
Nami and I fell off of the cliff, but I just barely managed to grab onto the edge. Nami still had a firm grip on my jersey. "Let go, you blue brat!" She shouted. "Don't make me force you to!"
Felix rushed over to the edge of the cliff, his hand outstretched towards me. "Kasai! Take my hand!" He cried.
I sullenly replied, "If you pull me up, Nami comes up with me too. And If I let go, Both Nami and I will die."
"KASAI, TAKE MY HAND! IT'S NOW OR NEVER!"
I looked down at Nami, still tugging on the end of my shirt. I noticed something- the fabric was ripping.
"What is this-" Nami questioned.
Eventually, the flimsy fabric gave way, and Nami was sent hurtling headfirst into the water below. Felix quickly yanked me up.
After a long period of silence, someone finally spoke up.
"...She's dead." Orlaith said blankly.
