"then just kiss all of them" michael suggested.
it wasn't a terrible idea but it definitely wasn't a good one.
I turned to Luke and kissed him on the cheek along with Ashton. They both looked disappointed.
"why do you guys look so upset you never said I had to kiss them on the lips" I chuckled.
I turned to Calum to kiss him on the cheek but he turned his head at the last second so I was almost kissing his lips. I had kissed the corner of his mouth but that was too close for me.
all I could do was glare at him while the other boys laughed. he gave me a toothy grin and I decided it wasn't that big of a deal so I just laughed with them.
The night continued like that. A couple weird dares like doing a body shot (with whipped cream) off of Calum but I couldn't stop laughing long enough to actually do it. around 10:30 the boys got up to leave since it was getting late. for a school night at least
"okay well i think we are gonna go. I had fun tonight though." Ashton said with a smile. I returned it and gave him a hug as well as Luke and michael. They all left and it was just me and Calum.
"Do you want to go upstairs?" I asked. normally I would never do that but I've gotten to know him and the rest of the boys so well in the past few hours that I felt like I had known them my whole life.
"Umm yeah sure if that's okay with you. I mean I don't want to bother you or anything" Calum shrugged
"Not at all we can just watch a movie or something" I smiled already walking up the stairs.
Calum just stood at the bottom for a second before I spoke up. "Well are you coming or not?" I giggled.
He nodded and ran up the stairs. I walked into my room and plopped down on my bed with Calum following close behind. He just kind of stood in the doorway.
"What are you doing? You seem nervous." I asked Calum while moving to sit against my headboard.
"Oh umm I was just uhh looking around." He said walking towards my bookshelf.
"Have you read all of these books?" he asked running his fingers down the spines of the books.
"I've only read about half of them. It was my goal to read all of them before the summer was over but then I was told we were moving here, so I put the reading on hold to make the most of what time I had left in California." I said looking down at my lap, twiddling with my fingers. I looked up to see Calum standing right next to my bed staring at me.
"Do you miss home? I mean I bet you do but would it help to maybe talk about it?" Calum asked in almost a whisper tilting my chin up towards him.
I hadn't noticed I was crying until he wiped a tear from my cheek.
"Umm yeah I guess. What do you want to know?" I asked as he sat on the end of my bed as far from me as possible.
I giggled before saying "You can come sit up here. I don't bite."
He slowly came and sat next to me with his back against the headboard a blush remained on his cheeks.
"Umm thanks. Just tell me about your life back home. I want to know the you that was there, cuz I feel like it's not the same you as the one sitting next to me." he said. I could feel his eyes on me but mine remained in my lap.
"Alright well I guess I'll start with my friends? Umm well Kaitlyn and Madison were their names. I played softball with Kaitlyn and madison was my neighbor since I had moved there" I just continued to tell him everything about my life back home. How I would never be confident enough to talk to guys let alone be friends with them, and how my friends would always talk to them for me because I was so awkward and didn't know how. I opened up to him even knowing him for only a couple days, that's something I never would've done back home.
By the time I finished I felt like I had been talking for hours. I looked at the clock that read 11:10pm.
"As soon as the clock turns 11:11 make a wish" I told Calum finally looking up at him after this whole time.
"Okay what are you going to wish for?" He asked.
I had to think about it because really everything here was perfect besides my friends not being here. Speaking of friends I should probably call them.
"You know I don't know. I mean everything here is pretty great. I might just wish for a pizza." I said with a giggle.
"That's a great wish but you missed your chance" he laughed. The clock read 11:13.
"Dang it. I guess I'll just have to order one anyway."
"That sounds like a great idea." Calum said smiling down at me. I think I was really starting to like him. I don't know though I mean I just met him a couple of days ago but look at him. He's kinda hot.
"You can stay if you want. I mean you don't have to I don't want you to feel like you need to I'll probably just end up eating the pizza by myself and watching sappy romantic comedy's but I mean-"
"Of course I'll stay." he cut me off from my rambling.
"Okay I'll go order the pizza then.Umm do you want anything to drink?"
"A water would be great thank you" he was so cute and polite and ugh I'm definitely crushing.
"Okay I'll be right back"
After ordering the pizza we just hung out and talked and he told me about how he had lived here his whole life and that he wants to be in a band but his parents don't want him to drop out of school. I ended up falling asleep around 3am with Calum playing with my hair while talking. I felt bad but I was really tired. I felt myself being picked up and layed under the covers. Calum must've gotten up to leave. I felt a kiss on my forehead.
"Sweet dreams beautiful" he whispered. that night was probably the best sleep I have gotten ever, with Calum filling my dreams.
