SEHUN'S POV –
I waited sitting in my bed for them to finish since her parents asked me to be out of the conversation. I understood it was a private matter but I was involved in that too. Besides, that situation was also my fault. If they only could let me explain... But they didn't seem to like me; especially his father. He looked at me as if I was taking his little girl away from him and he wasn't going to see her again in his whole life. Not that I didn't think about that... She opened my door a while later. Her eyes were reddish, as if she had been crying.
"What happens?", I asked worried. She ran to me and wrapped her arms around my neck, burying her head on it. "What? You're scaring me", I said. "Tell me what happened", I said softly as I tried her to sit beside me. But she wouldn't leave me, so I made her sit in my lap. I placed my hand in his jaw and lift it to make her look at me.
"They said I lied to them", she finally spoke. "And that I can't live with my boyfriend because that's not what decent girls do", she continued. "That's stupid. I'm old enough to have a boyfriend and do whatever I want", she said suddenly annoyed. "They're so old-fashioned! Now they said that they can't trust me anymore", she said.
"They're your parents. I'm sure they just want the best for you. Maybe we just need to be more... discreet", I finally said, not finding the right word for it.
"They said they're going to look for a new apartment for me", she said sad. My eyes widened.
"What? They don't let you live here anymore?", I asked shocked. What was I going to do without her there? "But that's... If that's the problem, I can leave...", I began.
"It won't do anything. They say Haneul has a boyfriend too and that would be the same and bla bla bla...", she replied grudgingly. "Gosh, I feel so impotent. They're my parents; I still depend on them for those things. Even if I work I wouldn't be able to pay college and an apartment", she continued. I didn't know what to say. I didn't want her to leave. But I could understand her parents. She was their little girl and they had to protect her. I would have done the same.
"Even if I leave, you're going to visit me, right?", she asked as her voice broke.
"Of course! You'll even think I live there", I said quickly as I stroked her cheek.
"But you know what bothered me the most?", she said. "They said they're paying for a degree that has no future. They said they supported me on that and now... I don't know what to think", she said as she buried her head on my neck again.
"Hey, look at me. What do you really want to do in your life?", I asked, making her look at my eyes.
"I just want to paint", she replied shyly.
"Then do it. Don't care about anyone. That's your choice, only yours. We have to live while doing things we like; things that make us happy. You go first. You have to be the most important person in your life", I said. But you're the most important person in my life, I felt like saying.
YOUR POV –
You couldn't believe your parents found a new apartment so soon. Barely a week after your talk, they told you everything was ready for you to move out. You'd never cried so much in your entire life like when you had to say goodbye to Sehun. He laughed and told you that he was going to practically live in your new apartment but you felt he didn't like that situation either. It wasn't going to be the same. You got used to sleep beside you and now just thinking about spending a single night without him was torturous. Your parents helped you to move. Sehun was going to go later since his presence with your parents there wouldn't have been the best idea.
