lesson had just ended, Hyunjin was focused on his phone as he walked down the hallway, quiet footsteps following him. he stopped his movements and looked up, he waited until a shorter figure stood next to him.

"are we gonna ignore each other forever? Sana asked, her voice barely audible even in an empty hallway. "You're the one who decided to ghost me, remember?" male replied, finally finding courage to look into her eyes.

Sana looked up with apologetic puppy eyes and replied. "can we start over? i know it was selfish of me to react like that... i just- i wasn't expecting-" she stopped herself from continuing, not wanting to make things more complicated. "we might have so much to catch up to, right?" Hyunjin nodded, putting his phone in jackets' pocket.

both of them walked out from building, soft warm breeze hitting them. they decided to go to nearby cafe and talk, do collage stuff. once they walked in, they chose seats next to window, Sana picked up menu paper. "y'know there's another party going on this weekend, my close friends' cousin is throwing at his place, wanna go? almost everyone i know is going."

"aren't those parties boring already? we've been to-" "yes, we've been to three of those this year but she said she wanted me to be there... and also wants to meet you." Sana's eyes were pleading, almost vulnurable. Hyunjin could see how dedicated she was to whatever their relationship was. he called the waitress and ordered cheesecake and americano for both of them before replying. "i'll come but... why's that so important to you?" Sana tilted her head to the side from confusion. "i thought we had something?" her voice was slightly shaky at this point.

Hyunjin tensed up, he looked around nervously before saying, words coming out in a rush. "oh yeah, of course we do, it's just- i meant party. both of them stared at each other before Sana burst out laughing. "you're an idiot!"

As the conversation between Hyunjin and Sana unfolded, the air grew lighter, but Hyunjin couldn’t shake the heaviness in his chest. Her laugh echoed in his ears, but his thoughts were elsewhere—specifically, back in his living room, where Felix's teasing smirk lingered in his mind.

After they finished their cheesecake and coffee, Sana started rambling about the upcoming party, mentioning all the people who would be there. Hyunjin nodded absentmindedly, but his thoughts drifted back to Felix’s question from the night before: “Are you really into girls?” The question played on a loop, pulling him into a whirlpool of confusion.

Later that evening, Hyunjin sat in his room, the faint sound of Kkami’s paws against the hardwood floor breaking the silence. He leaned back against his headboard, staring at his phone screen. He had a message from Sana:

Sana: “Thanks for today. I really needed it. Can’t wait for the party ❤️.”

Hyunjin sighed, typing a quick, polite response before tossing his phone aside. He glanced toward the corner of his room, where Felix had set up his makeshift bed. It was empty now—Felix was probably out again. Maybe he wasn't coming back at all.

Hyunjin ran a hand through his hair, trying to focus on anything else. But the more he tried to push Felix out of his mind, the more vivid the blonde’s image became: the way he leaned in, breath warm against Hyunjin’s ear, teasing words laced with mischief.

The sound of footsteps broke his reverie. Felix appeared in the doorway, his hair slightly messy and a bottle of water in his hand.

“Still awake?” Felix asked, leaning against the doorframe.

First, Hyunjin was surprised, kind of startled by sudden appearence but quickly masked it. He nodded, sitting up straighter. “Yeah. Couldn’t sleep.”
