Morning light creeped through curtains, Felix's hair thrown all over his face, drool coming down from his mouth and onto bedsheets.
Hyunjin leaned back in his own bed, reading a book while sipping his morning coffee. He heard a shift on the floor, glancing just to see male rubbing his eyes, lips plumpy than ever.
Hyunjin looked away quickly, feeling his cheeks flushing up with embarrassment. Seeing Felix so small like this, so innocent in the morning...
Blonde sat up, hair messy, bangs up in the air like somebody blowed him with bomb. Hyunjin couldn't help but glance at him once more, grinning at Blonde's looks. "Morning." He said hesitantly, not really expecting the answer back. "Morning..." Felix mumbled, still rubbing his eye.
"Tea?" Older reccomended softly, already standing up to leave. Felix nodded and also stood up, heading towards the bathroom, shorts hanging low on his hips.
Hyunjin smirked to himself and went downstairs to make tea.
Morning was quiet, only sound was Kkami's soft barking over food or Hyunjin's praising over dog.
Felix returned a few minutes later, face freshly washed, a towel thrown over his head like a hoodie. He looked softer like this—eyes still half-lidded, lips slightly pouty, the morning chill clinging to his skin.
Hyunjin watched from the kitchen island as the younger slumped down on a stool, pulling the towel tighter around his head. “You look like a sulking marshmallow,” Hyunjin teased, sliding over a warm mug of tea.
Felix blinked slowly, then cracked a tiny smile. “You look like a concerned dad.”
Hyunjin chuckled, sipping his own drink again. “Guess that makes you my rebellious teenage son.”
“I’m seventeen, it fits,” Felix mumbled into the mug, steam fogging up his face.
That made Felix get lost in his own thoughts, fingers curling tighter around the cup. The age difference always sat somewhere in the back of his head, like a whisper too loud to ignore. He... Somehow found it... Kinky?
“I’ll make us something to eat,” Hyunjin said quickly, pushing off the counter.
Felix nodded, watching him move around the kitchen. There was something comforting about the way Hyunjin hummed as he cracked eggs, the way his bare feet padded quietly against the tiles.
“Kkami likes you,” Hyunjin said suddenly, glancing over his shoulder. “He doesn’t like just anyone.”
Felix shrugged, smile tugging at the corners of his lips. “I’m good with dogs.”
Hyunjin paused, turning to look at him properly. “You’re good with more than just dogs.”
Felix looked down at his tea, cheeks pink. “You don’t have to say stuff like that…”
“I want to,” Hyunjin replied softly, the tension hanging briefly in the air between them. But before it could settle in too deep, the pan sizzled loudly with oil, and Hyunjin turned back to the stove.
Silence stretched in room, both sat down on small white table and ate breakfast. Hyunjin looked up at blonde who was playing with toast and whispered. "I'm sorry... About yesterday." His voice came out softer than intended.
Felix's ears perked up, he looked up at Hyunjin with slightly wide eyes "Hm? Oh, yeah... That." He mumbled as he chewed the crispy toast. Hyunjin frowned. "So... You still mad or no?" Blonde chuckled. "Nah, i forgot about it already."
