Morning light crept through windows, Hyunjin's phone buzzed, reminding Hyunjin to get up.

Hyunjin stirred awake, his arms slightly tightening around blonde from behind, but not much to hurt him. Older nuzzled his nose into lix's neck before reaching out to soothe alarm. He stayed there for longer than he wanted to - soft breaths of Felix, the way he was using Hyunjin's arm as a pillow all night, everything made Hyunjin feel things he wasn't letting himself feel.

But work called.

Older slowly pulled his arm from Blonde's side, hissing at numbness. He took one glance at sleeping figure next to him before slowly standing up. He wanted to stay there, hold him.

He couldn't just go after all of this... And it hurt. For so long he never felt like himself. Never had somebody to deeply care about. And now he was leaving.

_

Class was silent, again. He was sitting next to Seungmin, but none of them said anything. Until younger broke silence.

"You haven't contacted me in days. What happened?" His voice was distant, half hearted. Hyunjin's heart sank a little. He knew he was ignoring Seungmin's messages, never reading them or sometimes answering in one word.

"I was busy." He murmured, his brush moving little unsatisfyingly now. "Busy with what? Or... Who?" Younger asked, knowing why Hyunjin was actually ignoring him.

He coughed awkwardly, completely ignoring question. He didn't have nerves to face it. That he started to care for Felix.

"The event is in few weeks. Are you even working on it? It's not even finished." Younger commented, he meant no offense but Hyunjin was working really slow on his painting. It wasn't like him.

And we all know the reason.

"I- i don't have motivation on working days." Hyunjin excused, not looking up at Seungmin. "It doesn't matter, teacher was talking to me yesterday and he's little disappointed in you."

Hyunjin froze.

Disappointed?

The word he hated. The word that made his skin shiver.

Disappointed.

So he wasn't enough? His paintings meant nothing all this time?

Sudden touch on his shoulder woke him up from dreamland, he glanced to see Niki and others behind him. "Oh."

"You good, Hyunjin?" Niki asked casually, but the undertone wasn't friendly. It was something sharper, something that stung underneath.

Before Hyunjin could answer, Beomgyu slid into the seat beside him, dropping his backpack loudly onto the table. Yeji stood nearby, arms crossed, looking unimpressed. annoyed.

"We've been talking," Beomgyu started, tone way too casual to be real. "About you."

Hyunjin said nothing, staring blankly at his unfinished painting. It was weird how blunt his words were. Just like that.

I mean- he knew they would talk about him, after all of that with Sana. Of course they would talk badly about him.

"And about him," Yeji added sharply, voice like a whip crack. "Felix. Or whatever." She rolled her eyes. Seungmin looked between them, seeing how Hyunjin tensed up.

Hyunjin's stomach twisted.

"You’re ditching us," Niki said with a laugh that wasn't really a laugh. "You barely show up when we hang out. You don’t reply in the group chat. You don’t even post anymore. It's like... ever since he showed up, you’re different."
