"Are we gonna keep him here?" Glenn asks Rick.

Rick looks to the group, everyone's eyes on him.

"We'll know soon enough." He says as Daryl approaches.

"Boy in there got a gang, 30 men. They got heavy artillery and they ain't looking to make friends. They roll through here, our boys are dead." Daryl pauses taking a quick glance at Adrianna. "Our women are gonna wish they were."

"What did you do?" Carol asks, drawing Adrianna's attention to Daryl's bloody knuckles.

"Had a little chat."

Rick speaks up taking attention off Daryl as he come to stand by Adrianna. "No one goes near this guy."

"Rick, what are you gonna do?" Lori asks.

"We have no choice, he's a threat. We have to eliminate the threat."

"You're just gonna kill him?" Dale questions him, dumbfounded.

"It's settled. I'll do it today." Rick says, walking away.

Adrianna looks over to Daryl and nods her head towards their tent. They start walking and it's silent at first.

"What happened in there?" Adrianna asks, looking over at his hands.

"Wouldn't tell the truth. Had to make him."

She nodded her head in understanding, as they approached their camp. She took a seat, Daryl following after her.

"You think Ricks right?" He asked Adrianna.

"Yeah." She sighed. "Don't think it's right to kill people, but you kind of have to make an exception for the ones that are gonna kill you."

He nods. "Don't care what happens to him. Just hope everything goes alright, and someone follows through with something. I can't risk losing you because one of them fucks something up." Daryl says, noticing Adrianna's eyes shifting behind him.

He turned around and saw Dale walking up.

"The whole point of us coming up here is to get away from you people." Daryl says, standing up.

"Gonna take more than that."

"Carol send you?" Adrianna asks, knowing Carol has taken a certain liking to the pair.

"She not the only one concerned about you guys, your new role in the group. Everything with Sophia..."

Daryl cuts him off. "Man, I don't need my head shrunk. This groups broken. We're better off fending for ourselves."

"You act like you don't care."

"Yeah, it's cause I don't."

Dale turns his head to Adrianna. "And you? Do you care?"

"Not really. The group is scared, doesn't know how to act at the thought of losing everything. There's nothing Daryl or I could do to help." She says, only worried about herself and Daryl at the moment.

"So live or die, you guys don't care what happens to Randall?"

"Nope." Daryl says, plainly.

"So why not stand with me and try to save the kids life, if it doesn't really matter one way or the other?"

"Didn't peg you for a desperate son of a bitch."

"Your guys opinion makes a difference."

Adrianna scoffed. "Ain't nobody looking to us for nothing."

Daryl and Adrianna were the outsiders of the group. The ones that were there but didn't fully fit in. They didn't care to fit in nor did they want to. The pair just needed each other at the end of the day.
