The morning after Denise's death was quiet. The town was scared again, knowing that there was another threat was terrifying. Adrianna was headed over with Maggie to go through guns with Glenn.
She kept her eyes open for her own husband, the night before he barely spoke to her and when she woke up, the man was gone. She knew the death was hitting him hard and she figured he needed some alone time.
A groan from Maggie's lips brought Adrianna out of her thoughts. "Are you okay?" Her voice was laced with concern.
Maggie nodded and placed a hand on her small baby bump. "Yeah, I just have this cramp that won't go away, it's making me sick." She groaned out.
"Should we take you to the hilltop?"
Maggie shook her head. "No, I'm alright. I think I just need to take it easy." Adrianna nodded in agreement but wanted to keep an eye on the woman anyway. They approached Glenn who was rolling a bin of guns their way. "We have these but we'll hide a few. That way we can find them but strangers can't, in case anyone gets in." He explained picking up a gun and checking the chamber. "They won't." Adrianna replied as her and Maggie followed suit. A loud rumble came down the street and pulled up to the gate. "Oh lord." Adrianna muttered out as her eyes fell on a very determined Daryl. Maggie and Glenn looked up and paused at the sight. "What's the hell's he doing?" Glenn asks Adrianna. She grabs ammo from the bin and hostlers it along with a gun. "Something he shouldn't. I gotta stop him." Adrianna broke off into a sprint to the gate as the man pulled out on his motorcycle.
A familiar crossbow hung on his back.
Glenn looked to Maggie unsure. "Go, help her." Maggie nodded to the man and he ran after her quickly. He hopped into the vans passenger seat as Adrianna started up the vehicle. The back door slid open and Michonne hopped in, she saw it go down and wanted to help. As Adrianna stepped on the gas she quickly had to slams on the breaks as a ginger hopped out in front of the van. "Make room for my freckled ass." Glenn shook his head and shooed him out of the way. "No, we need to keep numbers here." The man nodded hesitantly in understanding and let them drive out before closing the gate behind them.

"That's where she died." Adrianna said eyeing the blood stain on the tracks. Her mind kept replaying the moment she died and she couldn't shake the image of her lifeless body laying on the ground.
"So he must've started here." Glenn said. Him and Michonne began looking around for any sign of the man. A small pile of bush caught Glenn's attention. He walked over and pulled it off, revealing Daryl's bike. "Which way did Dwight run?" He asked turning back to Adrianna. Her gaze was stuck on the same spot and she was in a trance like state. "Adrianna?" Glenn called out for her louder this time.
"Maybe we should let him do this." Her voice was barely above a whisper.
"He doesn't know what he's doing, we don't." He walked over and placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Maybe him trying this makes you feel better about it right now, maybe they keep knowing more about us than we know about them, or maybe Daryl's gonna get himself killed." The last sentence snapped her into reality and she knew Daryl wasn't invincible, anything could happen. She raised her gaze from the blood. "Which way did Dwight run?" She nodded her head in the same way the group had retreated. "I can track him." She breathed out.
She knew it was going to be nearly impossible.
The man didn't want to be found. His tracks were going to be difficult to follow but Adrianna had to find him. She had to make sure he was safe and not out being irrational. As she followed the barely visible tracks, she led the small group into a clearing. Someone behind her had stepped on a branch and the loud snap was followed by an arrow. It whizzed right past Adrianna's head and landed on the tree next to her. She looked up, snatched the arrow out of the tree and stomped over to a surprised Daryl. "Watch the hell out." She growled throwing the arrow back at him. He quickly reloaded the crossbow. "You shouldn't have come." He replied back before walking off.
