Carols sobs hitched for a moment before she thrashed in Adrianna's arms pushing her away.

"We've been out. We've been coming these woods looking for her, and she was in there all along. You knew!" Shane accused Hershel following him away.

Before Adrianna could speak to Daryl he turned and walked away from her swiftly, his heart hurting. Both of their eyes brimmed with tears.

————————
Adrianna walked into the RV wiping dirt from digging graves off of her head. Daryl was already sat on the counter sitting in silence with Carol.

"They're ready. Come on." Adrianna said softly.

"Why?"

"Cause that's your little girl." Daryl spoke up.

"That's not my little girl. It's some other thing." She sniffled before speaking again. "My Sophia was alone in the woods. All this time I thought... she didn't cry herself to sleep, she didn't go hungry, she didn't try and find her way back. Sophia died a long time ago."

Carol finished and the pair knew they had no argument.

————————

"We moving to the suburbs?" Adrianna tried to joke walking up to her and Daryl's tent which had been moved further out.

When he didn't even look at her, she sighed.

"Listen, Beth's in some kind of catatonic shock. We need Hershel."

"Yeah, so what?" He grumbled still sharpening a stick.

"So I need you to help me run into town real quick, bring him and Rick back."

Daryl didn't answer and she knew he was pushing her away.

"Daryl?" She asked quietly.

"That bitch went window shopping." He said looking up to her. "You want em, fetch em yourself. I got better things to do."

"What the matter with you? Why would you be so selfish?" Adrianna asked fed up with his tone.

"Selfish?!" He shot up throwing the wood down to the ground. "Listen to me, Adrianna. I was out there looking for that girl every single day. I took a bullet and an arrow in the process so don't you tell me about getting my hands dirty."

She stood there quiet not wanting to say anything.

They were both angry, hurting, and grieving. They just had different ways of showing it.

"You want those two idiots, have a nice ride. I'm done looking for people." He said lowly sitting himself back down.

Adrianna dropped her head and walked away from him going back to the farmhouse.

She got a car ready and her crossbow.

Before she could get ready any further, Lori called out to her.

"I wanna help you. Please." Lori pleaded.

Adrianna nodded her head and passed her the keys.

"Fine, but you're driving."
