Michonne found her way back to them, it was like a miracle. Early in the morning Adrianna sat with Carl and they ate some cereal. Walking up, Michonne had a shirt way to big for her tied up on her back. A small giggle fell from their lips.
"Do you guys have something to say about my extremely comfortable and attractive shirt?" Michonne does a small twirl.
"No. No. No." Carl throws his arms up in surrender.
"It looks great." He reassured."You missed a button." Adrianna laughed and Michonne rolled her eyes.
"Wish we had some soy milk." Michonne said pouring some water into the bowl.
"Seriously?" Adrianna and Carl's faces scrunched in disgust.
"Yes, seriously." She looked to the smiley pair in front of her. "Have you ever tried it?" She questioned.
"No and I never plan to." Adrianna took another bite of her food.
"I have. My best friend in third grade, he was allergic to dairy." Carl started explaining his story.
"Mhhm." The woman urged him on to finish.
"And every day he would bring this soy stuff to lunch. I tried it."
"And?"
"I threw up." The table busted out in laughter.
"Oh, yeah right." Michonne called his bluff.
"All right, all right." He admitted. "I almost threw up. But I was like-" He faked a gag and laughed. "It was so gross. I mean literally, I would rather have powdered milk than to have to drink that stuff again.
I would rather have Judith's formula-"The words left his mouth before he could process them. He froze up and the woman looked to him concerned. "I'm gonna go finish my book." He stood up from the table. "Only got a few chapter left." He whispered as he walked away.
The woman made eye contact and then looked back to their bowls.

"Thank you guys." Rick thanked as the woman walked into the kitchen. "Heard him laughing in there. Forgot what that sounded like." He admitted.
"I can't be his father and his bestfriend. He needs others." He looks to the ladies in front of him. "I know that's a lot to throw at you guys. So if you're ever feeling like you need a break..."Adrianna shook her head and Michonne spoke up. "I'm done taking breaks." She relied bluntly.
"So what's the plan?"Adrianna asks, breaking the silence.
"This place." Michonne motioned to the house. "Is it home? Or just a stop along the way?"
"Let's just stay here while we figure it out." Rick suggested.
"Well, we'll need more supplies so I'll go with Carl to go get some." Michonne offered.
"We can come too." Adrianna urged.
Michonne let out a small scoff. "You can barely walk without extreme pain and you were unconscious yesterday." She pointed out.
"I'm awake today." Rick corrected.
"We need you strong." She looked to the both injured and exhausted people. "Just rest. One more day." Michonne urged.
————————
"How long you think you'll be?" Rick asked Michonne as they walked onto the porch.
"Fills couple bags, shouldn't be too long." She explained simply, with a small shrug.
