"No. No way in hell." Gregory exclaimed. "That was not the deal. You people swore you could take the saviors out and you failed. Any agreement we have is done, null and void. We aren't trade partners, we aren't friends. We never met, we don't know each other." Gregory argued. "I don't owe you anything.
In fact, you owe me for taking in the refugees at great personal risk."

"Oh, you were very brave staying in here while Maggie and Sasha saved this place." Jesus mocked the man sarcastically. "Your courage was inspiring."

"Hey, don't you work for me? Aren't we friends?"

"Gregory, we already started this." Before Rick could say another word Gregory cut him off.

"You started it."

"We did." Rick repeated. "And we're gonna win."

Gregory shook his head. "These are killers." The group scoffed at his coward behavior. "Is this how you want to live? Under their thumb, killing your people?" Rick asked. "Sometimes we don't get to choose the life we want to have. Sometimes you have to count the blessings you have." Gregory snapped.

"How many people can we spare?" Maggie spoke up from the back. "How many people can fight?"

"We?" Gregory laughed. "I don't even know many people we have Margaret. And does it even matter?
I mean what are you gonna do, start a platoon of sorghum farmers?" He ridiculed. "Cause that's what we got. They grow things, they're not gonna want to fight." Gregory explained.

"You're wrong." Tara replied. "When people have the chance to do the right thing, they. Usually step up. I mean-" Gregory rudely cut her off. "Let me just stop you right there before you breaking into song. And, by the way, who would train all this cannon fodder?" Multiple people murmured that they would. "That was rhetorical, okay?" He shook his head at what he believed was foolishness. "I don't want to know. I never want to hear another word about any of it, ever." Gregory fell silent.

"Would we be better off without the saviors, yes or no?" Rick asked.

"Yeah, sure."

"So what are you gonna do to fix the problem?"

"I didn't say there was a problem. You did." He said pointing back at Rick. "What happens outside of my purview is outside of my purview."

"What the hell man?" Daryl broke. "You either with us or you ain't. You're just sitting over there talking out of both side of your mouth."

Gregory looked slightly shocked at the man's outburst. "I think I've made my position very clear." He stood up from his chair. "And I want to thank all of you for not being here today, not having this meeting with me, or being seen on the way out." He motioned to the door. "In other words, go out the back." The group snarled before they stormed out of the man's office.

"We don't need him anyway." Adrianna says as Rick and Daryl walk in sync with her.

"That's right." Rick nodded. "Cause we have you, Maggie, Sasha, and Jesus here."

"And Enid."

The young girl walked in at the same time and everyone's gaze fell to her. She opened her mouth to talk but quickly slammed her lips shut. "What's wrong?" Maggie asked concerned. Enid simply shook her head. "Nothing. Just come outside." The group shared a confused look before they followed after Enid. A group of hilltop members were stood at the bottom of the buildings steps.
