"I think we've got about a days worth of water left. We're lucky it's cooled off a little bit, but..." Adrianna's words trailed off when she noticed Carl and Michonne weren't behind her.
Rick and Adrianna turned to the pair as they walked across the side of the tracks, trying to balance. Rick let out a laugh. "What are you doing?" He asks.
"Winning a bet." Carl replies.
"In your dreams." Michonne laughed.
"I'm still on." Carl joked before his balance started to give. Adrianna and Rick let out a laugh at the sight.
"Spoke too soon, wise guy."
"This might go on a while. Maybe we can speed this up." Rick urged.
"Yeah, you're right. Shouldn't be fooling around. We should probably- Carl!" Michonne yelled out, trying to throw Carl off balance. Instead her stance faltered and she fell of the tracks.
Carl laughed at her. "I win." He held his hand out towards her. "Pay up."
She unzipped her bag and pulled out two different kinds of candy bars. "Is that really the last big cat?" Carl asks as she holds them out for him to choose.
She nodded in response.
Carl took a moment and then hovered his hand over the big cat bar. "Oh come on." Michonne groaned.
"Hey, you said it was winner's choice."
"Go ahead. Take it, it's yours. You won it fair and square." She rolled her eyes, jokingly.
Carl opened the candy bar and broke it in half. Shoving a piece her way, she looked to the bar questionably. "Come on. We always share." Carl urged he to take it.
Michonne laughed and snatched the piece from him, playfully. "Fork it over."
————————
The sun was starting to set now. Everyone was cold and hungry. The animal food source was low this time of year so Adrianna was going to have no luck hunting anything, especially with no crossbow. In an attempt to get any kind of food, Rick set up snares around a small camp they had made.
"How hungry are you, scale of one to ten?" Rick joked to the small group around the fire.
"Fifteen." Carl laughed.
"Twenty eight." Michonne added.
"Thirty two." Adrianna's stomach grumbled at the thought of having a full meal.
"Yeah, it's been a while. I'm gonna go check the snares." Rick grabbed his bag and stood up.
Carl looked up to him. "Can I go with you?" He pleaded.
"Well, how else you gonna learn?" Carl let out a huge smile at Ricks words. "Hey." He looked to Adrianna and Michonne. "You guys too, we should stay together." Adrianna nodded in agreement and stomped the rest of the lit fire out.
The two ladies joined behind Rick and Carl as they walked into the woods. "We'll stay another day or two. Get some more rest." Rick took a glance at the group.
"Finish healing up?" Michonne asks.
"I'm almost there." Their eyes turned to Adrianna.
"Me too." She nodded in reassurance. Her leg was almost healed, as long as she didn't put intense pressure on it then the scabbing wouldn't open up again. And her body was right about done with pushing out the rest of the sickness.
"We're almost there, right?" Carl spoke up.
"To Terminus?" Carl nodded. "We are."
"When we get there, are we gonna tell them?"
