Uncle Ardian thought my parents were still the ones sitting on the throne, a mistake on his part.
He considered my suggestion when we met, which I had already expected. I revealed to him the trap I had long set, and as expected, he took the bait.
The ones who killed my true parents and sibling...
They are the shapeshifters.
Even the so-called king who has been hunting me is a fake.
They truly believed I knew nothing... that I had no idea they were impostors.
I’ve always known that he was jealous of my father since I was a child, but my parents never noticed because he looked innocent. I sometimes saw him secretly sneering whenever my father won a battle.
He also controlled the kingdom’s barrier every morning, keeping us inside and protecting the kingdom. But at night, the barrier would disappear. If he could keep it up both day and night, why remove it at night when enemies were more likely to attack? It was riskier than during the day.
He said it was my father’s choice, but I knew he could protect the kingdom both day and night. He only did it for his own benefit to gain my father’s trust.
At first, I thought he was just being petty. I was always on guard in case he tried something against my family, but nothing happened. Maybe he thought there was nothing to gain at that time, or maybe he still saw my father as someone he cared about.
I was once an innocent child who still gave the benefit of the doubt. A naive child who could do nothing to save her family.
But when I met Uncle Ardian in Meyerz, I realized he was allied with them. That’s when I knew he had started planning to get rid of my fake father. So, I manipulated him, pushing his buttons and suggesting that he should take my fake father’s throne, convincing him that as the stronger one, he was the rightful ruler.
And there it was, he fell right into my trap.
Even though he didn’t kill my real father back then and only the fake one, there’s no denying that he’s still a threat. He had the power to kill my real father.
Any threat to my life must be eliminated.
He’s no exception.
He tortured me and I’ll do the same to him, slowly, so he feels every bit of pain, just like when he brutally beat me in this very prison. His dirty hands touched my cheek that’s why this was just his little gift. I smirked slightly.
I don’t want him to die quickly.
And these guys with him will go down with him. These disgusting creatures, the one who sexualized me and the older ones who sexualized my mother.
