Eddie felt like it was the first day of her internship, not a third year resident, as she got ready for her first day of work at Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital.
Well, in a way it was, since the merger, it was the same building but new people and even new protocols. Eddie was also worried because there was still cuts to be made, and now with all of them under one building, there would be a tight battle between the two hospitals.
If anyone thought it was going to be easy, was sorely mistaken and foolish. There was going to be a lot of friction and it would take a while for them to feel like one hospital and not two hospitals in one.
And, Eddie also had a feeling there was going to be a lot of division and rivalry. And, she planned to do her job. When things got dirty like that, that is when people made mistakes. Eddie was going to show everyone why she belonged there.
She was not going to let anyone question why she was there.
"Mommy!" Connor cried as she crawled as fast as she could into Eddie and Mark's bedroom.
