"Thanks for this Eddie." Riel said, as she moved some things into the garage of Eddie and Mark's place.
Riel didn't work today, so, she was going to be the emergency packer alongside Amber and Lia incase they needed to move out of Meredith's house quickly. Because, they wouldn't overstay their welcome.
"It's no problem." Eddie said, last night, Riel and Alex decided to make sure most of their things along with Amber's was moved out, incase Meredith decided to kick them out after the truth came out.
They were going to look for apartments to rent, or possibly a house to rent for the foreseeable future, until they found their dream home.
"I just hope that this is not going to change things, but knowing Mer..." Eddie said, but Riel nodded.
"Yeah." Riel said. "It's better safe than sorry. Plus, Alex and I know that our time is limited there, with Derek and Meredith talking about adopting Zola...we have a few places in mind...not great, but it's a roof over our heads."
"Plus," Riel said. "Alex loves Meredith's house, he mentioned how he'd fix it up if we ever got to buy it when Meredith and Derek moved out...honestly, I love it too...but we can try and find a new dream house."
Eddie nodded in understanding.
"Alex insists though that unless we find a house we love and plan to live in forever, or for a long time, we should wait to use my grandparent's gift, which was a nice lump some of money since I declined their offer for them paying for my wedding." Riel said. "It makes since, and I agree."
"It does, and it is smart." Eddie said. "If you need any help, I am good at looking at listings. I picked up a thing or a hundred from Step Stan. He may be a slimy slug, but he is a slimy slug who knew how to do a good job."
