In the intern locker room, all the interns at Seattle Grace-Mercy West were getting ready for their pre-rounds. Eddie was giving them all a prep-talk like Bailey did all those years ago when Eddie was an intern.
"You are the first person they see in the morning," Eddie reminded her residents, giving a pointed glare to Monet, Gabriel, and a few of their friends who had the foot-in-the mouth syndrome and are known to be stupid, though Gabriel was getting better. Even if it was going as slow as molasses in January. It was better than Monet.
But, everyone told her she was doing well with this batch of interns as she did her last.
"You say please. You say thank you. You apologize for waking them up." Eddie said, as the interns nodded.
