It had been two days since Izzie had informed Cristina and Eddie that she was diagnosed with stage four cancer, and had a fiver percent chance she would live. And, ever since then, every spare moment Cristina and Eddie were looking for anything to give Izzie a fighting chance, to allow her to live.
Eddie never expected to ever actually help Izzie this way. But, she couldn't just let her die. No matter how much they didn't get along. She was her friend, not close, but she was close and loved by two of her friends, Meredith and George, so she was doing this for them.
As much as she hated Jameson, she was doing this for him as well. He was truly in love with Izzie, Eddie could tell, having known him for most of her life. She was different than any girl he ever had hanging off his arm. And, Eddie was starting to like the person he was with Izzie, even if she knew she might never truly like him.
And, also because Izzie didn't deserve to die this painful death. She was a fighter, and she was going to fight this.
Mark had to go in early for his surgery today, he wanted everything to be perfect, so Eddie had the girls. So, she took them over to the frat house to help Izzie and Cristina look into options to help Izzie fight her cancer.
