Cursed [Jai Brooks]

AUTHOR'S NOTE #8 I'M DOING WHAT?!

Hi Guys,

So this is an announcement about something that you are going to get real excited about. I'M WRITING A FREAKIN SEQUEL AND PREQUEL FOR CURSED. Okay, woah there it is. I'm going to be writing something like a five chapter prequel and sequel that'll show different aspects of the story that'll hopefully connect any dots that you haven't yet connected. Initially both Iida and I were going to leave Cursed as it is other than re-editing chapters but every single day I get at least twenty notifications from Wattpad telling me that a new person has commented on a chapter or voted for a chapter or followed me or added Cursed to their reading list and I think that the support you guys gave us on this book was/ still is incredible and I want to give something back to you guys so after constant request I've decided to do the sequel and prequel.

The prequel will consist of five chapters, two from Hope's point of view, one following her life before the death of her sister and one just after and two chapter's from Jai's point of view which will follow his life during the time of his dad's abuse and one after he killed him. The final chapter of the prequel will be from Jai's point of view and this will be the chapter that'll put the entire story together and explain why all of this happened. 

The sequel will most likely be five chapters long, I haven't decided yet. It may just be one really lengthy chapter, I was hoping to write the chapter ten years on where Hope and Jai have both left the institution and are living their lives. I won't give detail as to how they live their lives, whether they still know each other, whether any of their families welcomed them home or anything that'll give away what happens but I'm hoping that following the theme of Cursed the outcome will excite and shock you!

Finally I really wanted to thank you guys because as I've said almost a thousand times before the support you've given us has been overwhelming and we honestly sit and read through all of your comments, Iida and I often have conversations about some of your comments and theories because we love how invested you guys were in the story line and how connected to the characters you felt, it was so exciting to read. We are currently working on our new book called: The Art of Lying or TAOL for short and we'd love if you guys could check that out too. TAOL is slightly different from Cursed in the sense that Cursed had the shock factor and every chapter was left on a cliff hanger whereas TAOL isn't as like that, the story follows two characters Roni and Jai, they both become suspects of murder when ULA's most popular girl, Rachel Kay is murdered, Roni was Rachel's roommate and Jai was her most recent "lover". The pair wind up as suspects and when the entire state finds out they are forced to do whatever they can to find who actually killed her and basically they work together doing crazy things to find out who it is, of course it wouldn't be a good story without the element of romance and comedy and sex so that's all tied in, five chapters have currently been posted, we update every Wednesday and every other Sunday so we'd be really grateful if you checked it out!
