Sorry if there are a few mistakes, it's a little rushed as we've been so busy lately but I wanted to get it up for you guys since you've been waiting so long and I made it a little longer to try and make up for it. Sorry for the long wait, my exams finish Friday and then I have a real long summer so I should have more time to write. Hope you enjoy this chapter (:

I ignore it and walk back to my bike

"Ignoring me? Impressive" he continues now I can feel his cold breath on my neck

"G-Go away" I stutter as the cold weather is finally hitting me

"Nervous?" He moans to my ear, causing me to drop back to reality

I push him away and hop on my bike, quickly pedalling out of sight. I feel my phone buzzing in my pocket but I ignore it knowing that it would be him.

I almost crash into an oncoming vehicle as I look back praying that Jai isn’t following me, thankfully I don’t see him. I swerve down several alleys and several streets until I come to a place that seems familiar.

I look up in front of me and see the sign for ‘Brooks diner’. The red burn of the lights was almost comforting, I had no idea why Jai brought me here yesterday considering how long he’d been away from his family but I’m glad he did. I parked my bike in the small sheds round the back of the diner and made my way to the entrance.

I pushed open the large white framed doors, as the door moved a few centimetres a bell above sounded signalling my arrival. Immediately I was greeted by the same women that greeted us yesterday

“Hello my love, what can I get you?” she asks offering me a view of her bright smile

Judging by the slowly aging colour of her hair and her slightly wrinkled skin I’d guess she was in her fifties, although some of her features showed some signs of age all was evened out by her kind blue eyes and warming smile.

“I’m looking for Luke” I reply almost as a question, I begin fiddling with my fingers

Why did I come here? I have no right to come here, this is Jai’s family. He probably doesn’t want to see me. Maybe I should lea-

Just as I turned back towards the door, Luke pushed his way through the giant double white doors that led to the kitchen carrying two trays piled high with food

He made his way to table number seven; I couldn’t drag my eyes from his muscles that were straining under the heavy weight of the two trays in his arms as he lowered them down to the table

“There’s two pancakes with blueberry sauce, two egg muffins, two waffles and four fries” he said to the couple that looked as if they’d swallowed a thousand people...that could be an over exaggeration but they could’ve at least swallowed twenty

“Luke” the women I vaguely remembered to be called Rose shouted

Oh no...Maybe I could escape before he sees me. His presence took me off guard.

“Hope” he beams making his way towards us, he flips a red and white checked tea towel over his right arm before running his left hand through his perfectly styled hair that once again was shielded by a red bandana

“Hi” I gushed, I’m sure by the awkward yet eager tone of my voice I sounded sarcastic, luckily Luke didn’t call me out on it, I’m sure if it was Jai he would

I have to stop comparing them...I have to.

“What brings you here?” he asks gesturing his hands for me to follow him
