{Nate's POV}

"Happy birthday my beautiful queen!" I said as my gorgeous girlfriend of 9 months, walked down the stairs of our house. "Thank you baby" she said wrapping her arms around my waist. I kissed her forehead and looked at her angelic face,"you look so damn perfect all the time, it's crazy" I said examining her appearance.

She had a plain grey crop top, shorts, a black sweater, and her heels that have her some hight. "What's this?" Kennedy questioned, looking at the little wrapped box on the counter. "Part one of your birthday present" I said placing my hands on her hips, and kissing her cheek.

"Can I open it?" She asked examining the box. I nodded against her head, and watched her neatly open the paper up. "Babeee you found it! You know how long I've been looking for this! Thank you so much babyyy!" Kennedy said turning around and jumping up on me.

I had gotten her a belly ring that had a 'K' dangling from it. "Anything for my queen.." I said putting her back on the ground, but she didn't release her grip. I looked at the clock, "baby we gotta get going for the rest of your birthday surprises" I said as she pulled away to put the new piercing in.

"Okay hold on" she said replacing the ball back onto the piercing. "Ready" she said grabbing her purse, and throwing her phone in it. We got into the car and the wind through Kennedy's hair was gorgeous, and her scent was blowing towards me.

"Okay baby, I need you to close your eyes. Like look down so I know your not cheating." I said, knowing she would peek. "Or I could just do this" she said throwing her head between my shoulder and the seat. "That works to" I smiled, setting my hand on her thigh.

We pulled up to the place, and I made sure Kennedy didn't look, so I just had her come out of my side, while I kept her eyes covered. "Nate can I look yet?" She whined. "Wait till we get inside baby girl" I said placing my lips on her neck for a quick kiss. We entered the place, and I uncovered Kennedy's eyes.

{Kennedy's POV}

Nate uncovered my eyes and I looked around, we were in a tattoo shop! I turned around and smiled at Nate, and hugged him tightly. "Thank you sooo much baby!" I said squeezing him tightly.

"Okay baby girl, let's go" Nate said kissing me, walking to the counter. "Hey Jimmy, we have an appointment for 1" Nate said to the artist that always does his tattoos. "We?" I said confused looking at Nate. "You'll see baby hold on" he smiled at me.

Jimmy took Nate and I into the room where Nate had been tons of times. "So what are we thinking today?" Jimmy said looking at both me and Nate. "Babe, I was thinking we could get matching tattoos, if it was cool with you.." Nate said interlocking our fingers.

"Yes! What do you wanna get?!" I said excitedly. "Your first tattoo love, get whatever." Nate said kissing my hand. "Well I did see these cute couple tattoos, the girl had a queens crown, and the guy had the Kings crown." I said looking at Nate.

"Sounds perfect" Nate said kissing me. "Okay, where do you plan on getting these?" Jimmy asked us. "On my hip" I said pointing to the part. "I'll get mine on my hip too" Nate said licking his lips.

"Okay, are we doing these together, or separate?" Jimmy asked. "Together" Nate said looking at me smiling. "Okay I'll get another artist, and make a stencil and then we'll get started." Jimmy said shaking our hands, then going to the back room.

I squeezed Nate's hand from being a little nervous and excited. Nate leaned over and kissed my neck, "you okay babe?" He said rubbing my hand with his thumb. "Just nervous, does it hurt?" I asked from his experience. "At first, but I'll be here holding your hand the whole time baby." He said kissing my hand.

"Thanks Nate" I said resting my head on his shoulder, while we waited for Jimmy and the other artist to come back.

They returned about 15-20 minutes later, and we laid on the beds, and Nate gripped my hand. "Ready?" The two artists said getting the needles close to our skin. Nate and I both said yes, and they started our tattoos. Turns out my artists name was Danny...

Nate was right, it hurt at first, but then I got used to it. He kept kissing my hand, and smiling at me. "Good baby girl?" Nate asked smiling. "Yea, I can't wait to see it" I said excitedly. "Well the wait is over, your all done" the artist said wiping the ink one last time.

I got up, and Nate did at the same time. We went over to the mirror, and looked. "Oh my god babeee! These are amazing! Beautiful, thank you guys!" I said hugging Nate, then Jimmy and Danny. "Glad you like them!" They said.

Nate paid for everything, and it turned out that that was the best birthday ever!
