[Lexi's POV]

I giddily speed walked from my Jeep to the front door of my shared apartment with my boyfriend Sam. I pulled out my keys and went to open the door, but it was already unlocked.

Sam wasn't supposed to be home because he's at Nate's house to go over music plans.
I walk in the houses a cautiously and dig around my purse to pull out a can of pepper spray. When I notice nothing is there I put the pepper spray away and laugh at myself. I look down on the ground and notice that something had gotten caught in the heel of my shoe. I bent down to see what it was only to gasp when I realize it's a very lacy piece of underwear. It was to small to be mine though.

Unwillingly my eyes tears up, but I blinked them away not wanting my thoughts to wander without asking Sam his side of the story. While digging through my purse I hear a small moan coming from our room. "Stop teasing me Sammy," A girls voice moaned from the room down the hall. I held my breath and pulled off my heels so they wouldn't hear me.

"When's the girlfriend gonna be home?" I heard the voice say, "I don't know. She doesn't get home 'til like 8. We have two hours baby, so be quiet and let daddy take care of you" I gasped a small breath and a tear streamed down my face.

He's been cheating on me. I suspected it for a while, I noticed a hickey or two that I know I didn't do. But he insisted that I did it when I was drunk.

I ran out of the house silently and shut the door without a sound. I drove to my friend Seren's house and when she opened the door and noticed my tear stained face she immediately let me in. "H-he cheated on me," I sobbed into her shoulder. "Oh Lexi! I'm so sorry." I cried and cried, thinking about what I did to deserve it.

"The worst part is," I stopped to take a breath and wipe my eyes. " I knew it all along, I just didn't want to believe it because I love him so much." Seren grabbed my arm and dragged me to the living room and sat me on the couch. She Pulled out The Notebook and walked into the kitchen to get the gummy worms and ice cream. And we both sat there and watched the love story.

When the movie finished I had already stopped crying. It'd been about 3 hours and I wanted to go home to get my stuff. "Thanks love, for everything" I hugged her tightly and walked out the door. I drove back home and went inside the apartment.
Sam was sitting in the living room watching TV.

"Hey baby, how was work?" Sam asked a smile on his face. "Fine. How was the song thing at Nate's house?" I asked wanting to know if he was going to lie to me. "Great, I think we have a really good song coming along" He said lying in my face. "That's nice" I whispered, voice cracking and the tears starting to cloud my vision again.

"Baby what's wrong? Did something happen at work?" He said worried "No, something happened here." I looked at Sam and his face was filled with shock and curiosity. "What do you mean?" He said concerned "I mean....how long has it been going on?" A tear streamed down my face and I quickly wiped it off. "How long has what been-"

"DON'T LIE TO ME SAM! You know what I'm talking about!" My knees starting shaking at the fact that he lied to me AGAIN. This is the 3rd lie so far. "Baby, I'm telling you the truth. I don't know what your talking about" He lies again and walks up to you and tries to grab your shoulders. But I back away, fearing that if he touches me I won't be mad at him anymore.

"You cheated on me Sam," I say even though my voice is hoarse and my face is flushed with tears. "Baby, I'm sorry." He says making a sobs shake my body. I push past him and walk to our room and I kneel by the bed to grab my suitcase. "P-please don't go. I-I love you."

"No you don't.! If you loved me you wouldn't have cheated Sam." I walk to our dresser and basically rip it open. I roughly throw his clothes out of the way so I can get to mine.
"Don't leave me. Please, I'll change. Baby please, I'm sorry. I'm sorry," He repeats while taking the clothes that I start packing away back into our-his dresser.

"Put my clothes back in the bag Sam. I'm not staying." His phone vibrates from the stand beside me. I pick it up and look at the text.

Today was great Daddy...See you again the tomorrow? Same time as usual?

I throw the phone back at him and zip up my suitcase.
"And incase you didn't notice 'Daddy' we're over."

|The Next Day|

I stayed at Seren's house and just cried last night, that's all I could do was cry. I got up and went into living room where she was. "I miss Sam so much" I cried into her arms. "Well Lexi, he's a fuckboy, if you want him...that's your choice" she said playing with my hair.

"I just want him back so bad" I sobbed. Then I heard a knock at the door, Seren got up and answered it. "Uhmmm Lexi" I heard her shout to me. I slowly got up and went to the door, looking like a hot mess. "Baby I miss you, I'm so sorry! I cut it with Tasha! I'll let you see my phone anytime and I'll treat you like a queen baby, I love you...I just want you-" Sam said crying, but I ran and jumped and hugged him tightly.

He had a bouquet of roses in his hand and just hugged me tightly back. "I love you to Sammy, please don't ever do that to me again" I said gripping his hair, holding him in my arms. "I won't baby I promise" Sam said kissing my lips.
