Argh!!!" Zabuza exclaims in pain.

His arm, now out of action, releases the weapon he was holding, falling and sliding several meters, leaving Zabuza unarmed.

"Your right arm is out of action, you're limited in casting your techniques... anyway, I wouldn't give you the time." Kakashi asserts.

"Ungh..." Zabuza trembled in pain, defeated.

"What a disastrous defeat, how disappointing...". An unfamiliar voice is heard, followed by a knock on the floor.

The three of us turn our heads, but only Zabuza seems to recognize him, surprised to see him here.

"Zabuza!!!" Exclaims the man.

He has shaggy brown hair and sports a pair of small, circular black glasses. He wears a black suit with a purple tie, a yellow shirt underneath his coat and closed-toed shoes and uses a cane to walk. Behind him are at least thirty men, armed to the teeth.

"Gato..." Zabuza's voice is stern. "What are you doing here...? And what are all these men doing with you?!"

(So this is the famous Gato...) Senji looks at him, not imagining him so frail.

"Heh heh heh... my plans have changed somewhat..." Gato announces. "Well, let's say it's what I had planned from the start... This is where you're going to die, Zabuza."

"What?!" Zabuza snaps.

"And yes! Because, you see, I never had any intention of paying you..." Gato explained. "Calling in shinobis in good standing is far too expensive and I couldn't run the risk of betrayal... That's why I called in a mercenary like you, someone easy to eliminate... once the job's done! Now that this fight has weakened you, you won't be able to stand up to my men, you'll be outnumbered. "What?" Senji is surprised. "But..."

Senji wanted to say something, but stopped, seeing Gato advancing towards Haku's corpse, lying on the ground a few meters between us and Gato.

"By the way..." He stops right in front of him, resting both hands on his cane, showing one of his cast-covered wrists. "I'm indebted to your friend." He taps his cheek with his foot, making Senji's blood boil. "He almost crushed my arm last time..." Then kicks him, moving his head. "Peuh!!! He's already knackered!!!"

"Hey! What are you doing!!!" Senji screams in rage, running towards him.

But Kakashi catches him just in time, only to be surprised by Senji's strength, practically dislocating his shoulder.

"Take it easy! Can't you see how many there are?!" Kakashi exclaims. "You can barely stand Senji, don't act hasty!"

"Say something, you!!!" Senji fails to calm down, turning to Zabuza who remains motionless. "He was your friend, wasn't he?!"
