Rias and her peers arrive at Tohsaka Rin's location, who is standing in a small cobblestone alleyway, in front of clothes scattered on the ground, and right next to her, a wall that has been smashed by superhuman force.
"Good morning, everyone..." Rin greets them weakly, still tired.
"Fufu, mornings are always complicated for you, Rin. How adorable." Akeno remarks, giggling.
Rias moves toward the wall, touching it with her fingertips, then pulls back, even more confused.
"There's no trace of energy or elements, it's pure force..." she comments, not reassuring her comrades.
"And look at this, it's as if someone had completely disappeared, leaving only their clothes behind." Rin crouched down, observing the items on the floor without touching them. "On them, however, there are traces of energy..."
Kiba and Koneko arrive after talking with the neighbors.
"The people who live here saw nothing and heard nothing. They were awakened by a loud crack and hid until the sun rose." Kiba turns toward the fireball in the sky, tinting the sky a pinkish orange color.
"Is this the mark of a new killer here, or a kidnapping gone wrong..." Rias pondered, clearly annoyed. "Damn it, Fuyuki is already going through enough torment, someone else had to go and make things worse."
"Should we call the police?" asks Asia.
"...Of course, Akeno." Rias asks her [Queen].
"Right away." Akeno picks up her phone and walks away to talk to the police.
"By the way, where's Senji?" Rin asks.
"He went to help a friend," Rias replies, sounding slightly concerned. "Who knows when he'll be back... Oh." But she is interrupted by a message.
She opens her phone to see that it's her boyfriend, which immediately reassures her, and she opens the message.
"Speak of the devil. He just sent me a message saying he's back in Fuyuki, but he has something to take care of at the Joestars' place." Rias reads the message, intrigued. "He'll call me when he's done..."
"At the Joestars'?" Rin repeated, confused. "What's going on there? And why is the timing with our discovery so strange?"
"..." Rias looks at Senji's message, reading it over and over again, finding the coincidence a little too much herself. "Let's trust him, I don't think it's that serious."
Rias looks up at the sky, which is gradually losing its color and light, replaced by dark, threatening clouds, driven by a howling wind.
The mansion is completely dark, with only a few rays of sunlight filtering through the curtains. Suddenly, the front door opens, allowing Dio to enter the house. He looks around, surprised to see that the house is completely empty.
"Well, steward?!" he exclaimed suddenly, breaking the silence. "How is it that the entire residence is plunged into darkness?!"
Suddenly, the light from the enormous chandelier comes on, and Jonathan appears, stopping in the center of the room.
"Jojo!" Dio exclaims, surprised to see him here.
Jonathan stares at him, saying nothing, which makes his adoptive brother panic. He widens his eyes, then calms down, taking a deep breath.
