In the Tohsaka residence, Rin hurries, running and quickly descending the stairs to reach the basement. She abruptly opens the door and places a bag on the desk, opens the drawers filled with gems of all colors, and fills the bag with them. She is interrupted by a message from Tsubame, a friend and member of her team. She quickly replies that the door is open, inviting them to come in. After filling the bag with gems, she turns around and takes a few steps to reach an old chest covered in dust. She opens it carefully, waving her hands to blow away the dust, and takes the short sword from its sheath and draws it. The purple blade emerges, with its black hilt and copper pommel encrusted with a red gem.
She admires it for a few seconds, before hearing her team in her house. She puts the sheath back on and attaches it to her belt. She closes the bag, slings it over her shoulder, and picks up a silver necklace with a red gem.
"I wanted to save all this for the Holy Grail War... Oh well, I have no choice." Rin makes up her mind and puts the necklace in her pocket.
She heads for the door but is interrupted again by her phone, this time by a call from Rias Gremory.
"Hello? Rias Gremory?" She answers, sounding worried.
"Rin, I need a favor!" exclaimed Rias.
"Sorry, senpai, but now's not really the time..." Rin sighs.
"I need you to go to the orphanage! Senji is probably already there and will need help! Please! It's very important!" Rias exclaims, then hangs up, leaving Rin confused.
"What is..." She looks at her phone, worried.
"Rin! What are you doing!?" Tsubame exclaimed, arriving in front of her.
"Sorry, but there are complications." Rin climbs the stairs, arriving at the ground floor. "I have to go to the orphanage, a... friend needs help."
"Then let's go together!" exclaimed Tsubame. "Right, Cementos-sensei?"
Tsubame is a tall, slim but muscular teenager with black hair and a few pale pink strands, tied back in a ponytail with a blue cord. Her hair reaches the bottom of her neck, while the cord hangs down to her knees. Having chosen the shinobi path, her headband is attached to her belt and she is equipped with several kunai attached to belts on her right thigh and a wakizashi on her back. She wears the Kuoh uniform.
"Hmmm..." The humanoid cement man thought about it. "That sounds really important... So let's go. Do you mind, Jurota?"
"No, but it might be difficult to get there," said the young man with the beastly appearance.
"...Thank you, everyone." Rin bows her head in gratitude.
Rin finishes getting ready and Team 25 cautiously leaves the house and rushes to the orphanage, a knot forming in her stomach as she dislikes this turn of events.
On the streets of Fuyuki, the Sunset Dragons' armored military vehicle speeds along, crushing monsters in its path. At the wheel, Xuelan's butler, Shiming, skillfully maneuvers the vehicle through the chaotic streets of the city. In the circular opening in the roof, Ruyji, armed with his machine gun, fires at every monster in sight, assisted by Sui, who uses water to cut and freeze anything that gets too close.
"When are we going to get there?!" Shuka exclaims, losing patience in the back of the vehicle.
"I'm sorry, Miss Shuka, but the situation is making driving a little difficult, but I'm doing my best to get to the orphanage on time," explains Shiming, dodging a wrecked car.
