Fate DxD Vol.19 Chapter 106

Today is a day of celebration and festivity for my elders in their fifth year, as tomorrow they will take their final exams. All the students have gathered in the main courtyard. The fifth years are in the center, while we're sitting around, listening to Minori-sensei's speech. Well, I'd like to listen, but I haven't slept all night, and I don't know how she knows, but Minori noticed me straight away and threw her fan in my face, waking me right up.
Right after that, a big wrestling ring was set up a little further on, with Shiria doing a show, microphone in hand. She's dressed in a sexy one-piece outfit, with a hanging skirt that doesn't cover much and a heart-shaped hole in the center of her chest. She's also wearing long, knee-high heeled boots. Then the show changes with a round against Shiria in the ring, much to the delight of boys and girls alike.

As for me, I stay on the buffet side, helping myself here and there to the good food laid out on the big tables. Then I notice Inaho staring at a huge strawberry cake, like a hunter staring at its prey, and with a movement so quick that I didn't see anything, the cake disappears, cream still on Inaho's cheeks.

"Ladies and gentlemen..." Shiria seems to be making a statement. "Today is my last day by your side. And for that we're going to play a little game and the winner will have the honor of going on a date with me for an entire day! And if that's not to your liking, I can use my connections to arrange a date with the person of your dreams!"

"Nonsense..." I hear a girl whisper next to me. "awards like this only interest guys..."

"Of course the girls aren't neglected!" Shiria adds. "If you've ever dreamed of going on a date with the famous star Ichinamiya-kun, Korean superstar Chijon-san or world-famous actor Kamekura Ken-san, I'll make that dream come true if you win!"

Suddenly, most of the girls are up on their feet, all blushing, probably thinking of their favorite idol, and I can only shrug at the sight and take another bite of those little cream-filled cakes.

"Pfff, these guys just want to win for their personal interests..." Usui sighs, filling his plate with small sausages.

"Don't act like you're not interested." I tell him, deadpan.

"The rules of the game are simple and akin to a game of cat and mouse..." Shiria explains. "I'm going to run all over Kuoh's campus and the first person to catch me will have their wish granted!" Suddenly, Shiria jumps out of the ring and starts sprinting. "Let the game begin!"

I see her run towards me and pass close by, throwing me her microphone which I catch by reflex.

"I'm waiting for you to catch me, Senji-kun!" She said, winking at me.

"Waiting?" I don't have time to understand what she's told me before I see almost all of Kuoh's students running after her. I shift to the side, narrowly dodging a frenzied crowd.

"Is everyone really participating?" Usui couldn't believe it. "Hmm? Here, I haven't seen any other Venus members apart from Shiria today."

"Indeed, and Kodai still hasn't sent me a message, I hope he'll let me know..." I look at my phone, disappointed.

"Ah perfect." Minori-sensei's voice approaches us. "Before Kodai warns you of their departure, there's something very important I must tell you Senji."

"..." I frown. "If it's to tell me about that filthy lie he threw at me, there's no need, I already know."

"Okay, good, I had a doubt you'd think it was real but that makes me feel better." Minori sighs, but her face turns serious. "The truth is, it's a false memory that Akaya and the victim have."
