"Hiyah!!" Inaho lunges forward, using the element surrounding her fist to crush a monster.

With her team 21, she continues, running at full speed and beating up every demon within reach, closely followed by Kiba Yuuto, slicing his enemies with his swords. Their teacher, the blood hero Vlad King, is right behind them, carefully monitoring the enemies' movements. Their goal is simple: to wipe out as many monsters as possible. Accompanied by other heroes, Shinobis, and a few Hunters who arrived in a hurry, they fight as best they can against the incessant stream of demons emerging from the giant whale in the sky.

Further back, behind the front lines, Team 18 is hard at work. Ochaco helps clear away the destroyed buildings, using her Quirk to float the debris, while Pony Tsunotori, a young woman with slight horse-like features and horns that she controls, makes them fly and uses them to rescue people from under the rubble. Meanwhile, Yuga defends them with the help of their teacher Kayaba Akihiko, a researcher and hunter in red and white armor. Equipped with a sword and a red shield almost as tall as he is, he blocks all attacks from the monsters while Yuga pulverizes them with his laser.

"Go, Team 11! It's your turn! Show them what you can do!" Iruka exclaims, slitting a monster's throat with a kunai.

Juzo Honenuki uses his softening alter on the ground, transforming it into quicksand and trapping all the monsters in front of him, their lower bodies completely buried. This allows Hiryu Rin to enter the scene. Concentrating the element at his feet, he manages to walk on the soft surface without any problems. He then uses his alter, covering his arms with reptilian scales as hard as iron, and kills the monsters stuck in the floor, closely followed by his teacher who does the same.

"You're doing great, boys!" Iruka exclaims, proud of his students. "Even without Tomoe Meguri, you're still managing to stay just as fast!"

"That's very funny, Iruka-sensei!" exclaims Hiryu, punching a monster in the face. "We're just as strong as her, I'll have you know!"

"But I can see that, keep it up!" Iruka slays a monster, then looks up to see hunters leaping from the rooftops toward the waves of enemies.

Despite the humor he uses to relax his students, Iruka is indeed anxious. The police have warned everyone that someone is actively searching for a Kuoh middle school student, Sophia Hennes, who lives at the orphanage, and as luck would have it, Minori warns everyone that Senji was heading to the orphanage.

(I don't know what you're up to, Senji, but if you think you can take on a guy like that...) He turns his gaze toward the center of Fuyuki, thinking back on the officer's last words.

"I repeat, this guy is extremely dangerous. He entered the police station and slaughtered all the officers who tried to stop him! Do not underestimate him!"

As he prepares to order his students to head to the orphanage, a powerful energy is released, coming straight from the center of Fuyuki. A wave of red and green energy emanates from it, sweeping across the city and freezing Iruka in his tracks, having never felt such power, even when facing the fox demon.

Everyone stops, even the monsters, who all turn toward the source of the energy, trembling with fear, because deep down, evolution has taught them one thing: the pure fear they feel can only come from one source, that of a dragon, and it was clearly not expected that one would be present in a human city.

Team 31, taking advantage of the monsters' confusion, launches a sudden offensive. Kodama summons her fire guardian, which rains fireballs down on the enemies, exploding on contact with the ground and causing enormous damage. His teacher, the hero Edgeshot, uses his alter, paper body, to transform himself into a sharp line, piercing the monsters one after another, killing them instantly. He is closely followed by Ippei Izawa, a young man with black hair, pale skin, and angular features. With his daggers, he slashes his opponents at high speed, like an assassin, quickly moving from target to target.
