When the two young women arrive at their club room, they immediately turn to the windows, seeing the chaos in the city, but above all, many civilians entering the school grounds to take cover. That's when Rias sees them, her peers helping Maken-ki and another group of students helping civilians enter the school.
She quickly leaves the club, closely followed by Akeno, runs down the steps four at a time and runs towards them, hugging them.
"You're safe and sound, thank goodness..." Rias lets out a sigh of relief. "So can you tell me what's going on?"
"We don't know," replies Kiba. "Monsters are appearing out of nowhere all over the city and attacking on sight."
"They're not very strong, but there are so many of them that the fight is much too difficult..." adds Koneko.
"Everyone listen to me!" Minori exclaims, getting everyone's attention, students and adults alike. "Given the situation, we have no choice but to send you into battle, kids. I'm sorry, but the shinobi and heroes here aren't enough to fight the number of demons attacking Fuyuki! So form your groups, the order is clear! Priority goes to civilians, they must be evacuated, either here or to the city's safety zones! Only engage in combat if necessary!" She looks at everyone as she puts on her gloves. "Come on, let's go! We must act as quickly as possible!"
At these words, everyone springs into action: teachers, heroes, and shinobi call their teams while ensuring the safety of the population.
"Rias, we have to go." Akeno said, seeing that Rias wasn't moving.
"I know." She nodded, then turned to her three juniors. "Be careful, all three of you. If there's any trouble, contact me or Akeno, okay?"
They agree, wishing them good luck, and part ways, rejoining their respective groups. Rias and Akeno do the same, running to catch up with Endeavor and the third member of the group. But suddenly, Rias' phone rings. She picks it up and her eyes widen when she sees who is calling.
"Senji!"
"Ready for number 4!" I exclaim, setting down a meal tray.
"I'm on it!" Meigang arrives, picks up the tray, and serves the customers with ease.
I wipe my forehead, the heat in the kitchen beginning to rise significantly, then return to my task, going back to my table, picking up my knife, and preparing to cut the vegetable when an explosion rings out in the distance. I stop what I am doing and turn abruptly. I put down the knife, hearing the customers panic and seeing the uncertain looks on the cooks' faces. I walk towards one of the windows when a second explosion rings out, this time much closer, the black sky lit up with a thousand lights.
"Gyaaaa!!!" Panic breaks out in the restaurant.
"What the hell is this?!" They all get up from the table.
"Don't panic, or you'll make the situation worse!" Meifang exclaims, making herself heard by everyone. "Please stay inside the restaurant, we will ensure your safety!"
That's when I see them, monsters, flying, running, climbing walls, everywhere. I step back from the window so they won't see me and close the curtains. Meifang follows my lead, closing the last curtains and reassuring the customers, who calm down a little.
"Is this an attack?" I peek discreetly between two curtains, seeing the monsters attacking civilians who are still outside, running for their lives.
