After Katie came Todd and then Sam. They all had sleeping bags and pillows and plenty of food. Oh and lots of movies, obviously tonight was going to be and all nighter. I peeked out the window, it was now pitch black.
Katie came and sat next to me as I placed my flowers on the other side along with the phone I'd borrowed of him. "So you and Brent?" She looked at the flowers.
"We were just mucking around." I admitted, cause that was what we were doing.
I looked over at Brent who was setting up all the bedding for everyone along with Sam and Todd. He was shooting me concerned looks. For some reason I felt that he really didn't want me to have felt that scar or have seen it the time before. I looked back over to him and noticed he had a scar right under his eye, it was only faint but I could see it because obviously I was a creep and was looking pretty closely.
I felt Katie move next to me. Oops. She'd caught me starring. She raised her eyebrow at me. "Mucking around?" She said looking at me like my mum looked at me when I'd told I lie and she knew and wanted me to tell the truth. I sighed now Katie would never leave my case.
Just then the boys walked over, perfectly timed. "So what movie?" Sam asked as he plonked about thirty movies at my feet on the bed. I sat up straighter with Brent's help again while everyone eyed us suspiciously.
"What?" I said as Brent plonked down next to me.
"Nothing." Sam, Katie and Todd said at the same time. They then went back to checking out the movies.
Brent leaned his head on my shoulder while the others turned their attention to what movie to watch. "So now that I'm allowed to put my arms around you whenever what does that make us?" He asked and I could imagine the smile on his face. I quickly moved away so he fell down on the bed because he had nothing to lean on. I could hear Sam and Katie arguing about the movie and figured they hadn't seen that and either had Todd cause he was sticking up for his little princess as he called her.
I laughed and he fake laughed which I found even funnier. "Remember what happened last time we were in this position?" He asked mischievously, I jogged my memory which wasn't very good one. Yes he'd pulled me down.
Before I could do anything he pulled me down on top of him. I checked to see if the gang (which I now called it) were watching. No they weren't, in fact they were storming out of the room while Todd followed along protecting his little princess.
I looked back at Brent who was now fiddling with my hair, I slapped his hand away.
"Owie!" He screeched like a two year old.
I sat back up and looked at him as he followed my lead. "No let's be serious now." I said before I noticed how stupid that sounded, since when was I serious anyway?
"No I mean it!" I yelled at him a he started to laugh. I shook my head and pouted.
"Okay fine." He said and sat up a bit straighter. He looked at me thoughtfully and I tried to figure out how to ask him.
"I need to ask you something." I came up with finally. Pretty straight forward.
His face became just a bit more serious. He sighed and brought a hand through his beautiful brown hair. He obviously knew what I wanted to ask him about. "Maybe later." He replied and smiled at me promisingly.
I didn't want to ask him later I wanted to ask him now. "No Brent, now." I said as forceful as I could but it came out more tiring. He stretched out his legs and leaned forward touched his toes and then looked right at me.
