"Why do they call them two minute noodles?" Connor asks as he swings on his chair. I'm a bit worried he might fall of but at least he would learn.
"Because they only take two minutes to make." Brent say with a smirk, I think he's proud to have known something. It was good he knew that though because he was making our noodles. After figuring out what to do about Brent's situation Todd and Katie had headed home to Katie's for dinner with their parents. So I decided to stay for dinner with Brent because I would be going home to an empty house anyway. But since their cook was away we decided to have two minute noodles. Which I didn't mind, I basically lived of them.
"Oh!" Connor says as he grabs his bowl of noodles and skips away with it, leaving Brent and I alone. At last. Grabbing my bowl from his hand we head upstairs, we decide to eat on the roof. I hold the warm bowl in my hands with a smile on my face. We're walking in silence but it's not awkward at all. I turn to see what Brent's doing as we walk and I find him starring at me.
"I know I'm beautiful Brent but there's no need to stare all the time." I tell him as I chuckle. I don't think he realises how cute he is.
"Whys that?" He challenges with a bright smile.
"Because silly, you have me for the rest of your life to stare at." I don't think I realise what I'm saying until it's out of my mouth. I had basically just told him that I planned to stay with him for the rest of my life, which I did. As Brent opened the door to the roof and held it open I ignored his smirk on his face. Sitting the bowl down the small table that was sitting in front of me. I felt Brent wrap his arms around me waist and rest his head on my shoulder.
"Georgia, I'm not going to ignore the fact that you just said you planned to spend the rest of your life with me." He said with a teasing hint in his voice. I was just worried, had I said it too soon. I didn't know if he felt the same way, from what I thought I think he did. And if he didn't screw him because I was so keeping him.
"What do you think of that?" I ask him as I turn my self in his arms to face him so our bodies are pressed against each other lightly and I can look at his face.
"I love you Georgia and even if you didn't plan to spend the rest of your life with me, I sure did." He says with a goofy smile on his face. He just said I love you and I feel my cheeks reddening. Realising what he said Brent repeats it, "I love you." He says with a smirk now as he registers my blushing cheeks.
"I love you too." I tell him. I've loved him for what seems like forever though. He leans forward to me kissing me softly and I wrap my arms around his neck. When ever I kiss Brent it feels like the first, no matter how many time I kiss him. We pull away after a short while and are both breathless. I leave my arms wrapped around his neck as we both catch our breath. I love how I'm sacrificing my warm two minute noodles for this, Brent should really appreciate it.
"Now our foods getting cold and we have to talk." Brent's says but hearing him talk I can tell he's still a little breathless. I on the other hand have recovered.
"Sure." I say not arguing with that fact that he suggested eating, I was completely fine with that. I unlatched my arm from his neck as I take a seat at the small table across from Brent. He takes as seat and we silently start eating, I admire the stars above us as we eat and I admire Brent as well. He catches me starring and puts his fork down.
"I can't eat with you starring at me like that." He tells me and I do an eye roll. Such a dramatic boy.
"Sure you can." I tease, I mean it's good. Of course he can do it. He slowly picks up his fork as he watches my gaze on him.
"Brent," I say aspirated, "I've seen you eat before." I tell him with a smirk.
He smiles a me crookedly, "I know, it's just a little hard to concentrate."
