I woke up to the smell of pancakes cooking on Monday morning and ran to the kitchen just to see that there was none left for me. I made some toast, grabbed my bags, and ran to catch the bus. Once on the bus we stopped at a place we had never stopped at before. An average sized girl about thirteen got on the bus she looked pretty normal so I was hoping maybe we could be friends before she heard the rumors about me. Once we got to school I introduced myself "Hi. My name is Alexandra, but most people call me Alex." She responded with "Why hello. My name is Jane. And most people call me Jane. A pretty boring name I guess." She had blue eyes and brown hair. She wasn't skinny but she definitely wasn't fat. And she had something about her that made it easy to talk to her. She was in the same classes as I was and we sat together on the bus ride home and I thought my life was looking up but when I got off the bus my backpack ripped in half.
