Now it was Friday I was getting really antsy because Marc goes to the same school I had to soon return too. But there was something else on my mind: the court date. The date was set for Saturday and I was extremely nervous. We spent all of Friday with Mr. Morris asking me questions to use tomorrow.
He told me not to be nervous because if the judge was in his/her right mind I would never go back to my parents. His plan was to use the concealed space , sleeping on the porch incident, and my dad's child abuse to stop me from going to my past parents, and how he already adopted another child. I went to sleep that night and had the worse nightmare of my life. My dad was there and he was holding me by my feet and throwing my on the ground with a slap. Just over and over with no one around to hear my screaming and again I was screaming very loud.
When Jane could finally get me awake I was sweating and very pale. I was having a hard time breathing, make that a ridiculously hard time breathing I couldn't seem to get enough air. Then I started shaking and the breathing just kept getting more and more difficult, but all I could see was my dad hitting me in the face over and over. Then I blacked out.
I woke up in a hospital room I seemed to stay in those quite often now. I had oxygen going on to my nose and it was a lot easier to breathe. Immediately the court date rushed into my mind.
"The court date is today! We must go!"
"Take it easy there Alex. Are you sure you can go?" Mr. Morris said.
"I'm absolutely positive!"
"Alright I'll get the papers to check you out then we'll go home and get ready," and that is exactly what we did.
